I remember that day as it was yesterday. The year is 2023, and I am watching this video on my iPad. Apple is more relevant than ever. The business world revolves in cycles that do not repeat themselves, but rhyme quite well!

The way Jobs said “after 4 weeks … I found people that can’t wait to follow a good strategy”. He lit up that company. And he even brought a rich paedo on at the end of the preso who was booed and still turned it into a success.

This partnership with Microsoft was an indispensable strategic move for Apple. Genius of Steve Jobs knowing when to compromise with an "enemy" because at that point in 1997 Apple was struggling to survive having lost around $1.5B for the preceding year.

What a bold move to feature Bill Gates in your coming back presentation.

I love the fact that he ousted the scumbags that ousted him. I wasn't in the room when he made the announcement to the former members of the board but I can only imagine the tension, lol. I love it!!!!! I believe that Arthur Rock was already gone when Steve returned. It would have been beautiful to get rid of that piece of garbage.

It takes 10 seconds and 2 slides to understand that things have changed for good. Presentation from GIl Emilio has all the reasons why Apple was failling: animations show up for no reason, colours inhibit reading and that pace on his voice made me ask one thing : Why is this incompetent CEO of anything? I wouldnt trust this guy to run a lemonade shop.

I see lots of comments saying how he was a "great presenter". I feel like it's a bit reductionist. Almost sounds like his ideas weren't his own or something. I would say "great thinker" is a better description.
