Nice XT 500 my favorite Yamaha however it does sound a little quiet , I would have went with a fin design or bigger inner dimension expansion which will eliminate any unwelcome rashness.

These are great bikes. Take them off road too. Its sad suzuki never imported them into uk. The best motor out.

Mufflers then air intake. OK, but with respect, bearing in mind the RE OEM downpipes have CATs in them and almost unique to RE, extra gas flow restricting sound deadening as well, our priority would be downpipes (which choke the bike to death|) FIRST, then mufflers, then air intake. Almost nobody posting on KZfaq seems to appreciate RE downpipes are the most power sapping downpipes ever fitted to any motorcycle on Earth. All of the RE range, no exceptions. Every Dyno test we have done shows the downpipes are THE choke point for power and torque on RE bikes, all models, everything else comes a long way second.Just saying.

As an older custom fabricator I’d advise against welding in a short sleeve shirt, the amount of skin damage I have on my arms and face (back then we’d hold the welding lense in our hands) it’s just not worth the inconvenience of wearing protection. 👍

Hello! I'm interested in possibly purchasing one of those Torpedo mufflers for my Interceptor. I saw you have 3 different sizes on your website. What is the exact size on the Interceptor in this video? Love that sound, has a great bark to it and I like the minimalist look. Thanks for your response.

The (full) famous quote "the customer is always right, in matters of taste" is about the nicest thing I could say about this particular bike. If you told me the owner was Arab, with a golden toilet, I wouldn't be surprised. Your craftsmanship is top notch, as always though, and a treat to watch!

Should go belly pan. Something about no belly pan takes away from symmetry of sport bike. Naked bike still needs belly pan to create that point under the radiator

We played around with belly pans, but couldn’t find one or create a shape that suited the retro styling. They all made the bike look too modern
