Pangolins are like the people of Gaza - may they both live regardless of the poachers and genocidal army

This is the first documentary I've seen that solely features pangolins, and I am so happy to see that people are finally learning about them!

Pangolins are such charismatic little guys! Thank you for mentioning specific locations where these animals can be found. One often hears that an animal is found "in Rwanda" or "in the DRC, but those are some big chunks of geography. For those of us who don't have the money for eco-tourism, such information feels just a little bit more like "boots on the ground," and puts us a little more in touch with these animals.

I enjoyed watching this documentary. It is crazy to see humans are killing this beautiful creature. I am glad there are some people out there trying to protect them and their efforts need to recognized and the whole world should know how pangolins are at risk of extinction and the need of changing negative behaviours to pangolins

Great doc! If they are so rarely seen, how is it that the Chinese are finding so many of them to poach? Are they raising them on farms or catching them all in the wild?

My top favorite mammals was either Vampire Bat, Capybara, Platypus, or Honey Badger…Pangolin just made it up there now! I really hate it when specific cultures do bad things because they “believe” that it’s a type of medicine or good-luck charm…Hope these guys do better in the future, though one could only hope for so much 😞

The Death Penalty should be imposed on anybody poaching or trafficking any animal or it'll never stop!!

Certainly for the international trafficking organization. Its hard not to have sympathy for a poacher just trying to support a family.

I've loved pangolins for quite a few years now when I first discovered them. They are such harmless, docile creatures which obviously makes it much easier to poach them. When they are poached and then readied for the traffickers/buyers to harvest them... they are put through an incredibly horrific, painful death. Often times boiled alive. Humans are a stain on this planet.

Weird how all these animals slaughtered around the world in illegal trades are shipped off to ONE COUNTRY! Why does no one say it in these films it's the Chinese hungry thats fueling the death of animals ???????

Can we as English speaking people stop being so ignorant to Chinese culture. Everybody and their mothers always say shit like" they were speaking chinese" ,this lady said " she doesn't speak Chinese" well that's good, because neither do Chinese people. There is no Chinese language! They speak Mandarin, Cantonese, taiwanese and another language I can't remember. No one speaks Chinese!
@joelk31873 ай бұрын
There is ‘Standard Chinese’. This is one language. It is based on Mandarin. If you truly want to respect Chinese culture, follow their ideology of removing cultural barriers, and making a country one homogenous block like the CCP is doing. It is not the West’s fault that we call it “Chinese”. China actively promotes the unification of Chinese languages into as few groups as possible.
