I’m old and grew up watching Westerns. When I was just a tiny girl, once I put my cowgirl boots on , it was almost impossible to get them off of me. I have several photos of myself proudly riding my trusty red rocking horse with my boots on. Mom said I even napped in them…just refused to take them off. For me, my first favorite cowboy was Roy Rogers. Such a positive man and character. A life motto that won’t steer you wrong….if you’re not religious…is “What would Roy Rogers do in this situation?” He always did the right thing. It wasn’t a bad thing growing up with genuinely heroic characters.

The only good thing about High Noon was Tex Ritter doing the title song

Open Range, Quigley down under, the professionals, old henry, my name is nobody to me are all deserving the top ever list.

I don't think entertainment companies understand how much money they could make investing in this franchise
