This video really kicked my butt to fix my page as much as I could. And once I made it look better, I was excited to share in all my groups way more. Since you anchored $20k in my mind, I pushed hard until I got there. And we made it! Three times more than I expected!!! Wow! Wish I had more time to make more tweaks, but happy enough with where the page froze. Thank you so much!!

I've been thinking about this project a lot. I think the value of buying the pnp bundle works like Patreon, where the first month you back you unlock everything. And then I get messages whenever new games come out, and it's always excited and tempting.

The Pay What You Want strategy is fascinating. Definitely something to consider for my campaign in the future. Can the Limited Quantity for those pledge levels be increased as your campaign increases backer number? You could set a target percentage of your campaign to be Pay What You Want and increase the quantity of backers at that pledge level as the campaign increases full pledge backers. The one thing that I see that gets a little messy but I think they have a plan in place is that they can't do a simple 1000 copy print run of the game because there are basically 4 unique versions of the game they are publishing. That is a route that I definitely won't be taking. One game and one box size. Any Kickstarter or deluxe upgrades will fit in the base game box. But I know they have a plan for this so I don't worry about it.

The 2 editions were an unnecessary complications, and I wouldn't recommend that. But the pocket version and deluxe version were perfect.

The pocket version will come in a small tight box. I can print 1000 of each. They are cheap to ship and I can fit hundreds in a suit case for conventions. The Deluxe versions will hold the small version, and I might print 500 of each Deluxe. Shipping goes up a lot for volumetric weight, especially at distribution quantities. I haven't tested the next step, but I would argue start small then get bigher, instead of start big and then leave out stuff. If not for shipping and storage, there's a good psychological feeling when spending more money and getting something bigger. The best alternative would be to have extra stuff outside the box as add-ons that are free with the campaign. I will do this for the stickers, so I can sell them at conventions separately, or bundle them with games if someone buys both.

Yes, you can increase limited quantities throughout a campaign to keep percentages good. At first half the backers got the PWYW levels, and about 10% of the funding. There were a lot of plushie add-ons or an extra deluxe add-on. Now, a day before ending, about 30% are PWYW level, at 5% of funding. A lot of people upgraded to VIP or all-in as stretch goals increased the value, or they understood the game (and me) more. I love engagement. I knew I would write a post every day and a half and do all social stretch goals. Without that, I don't think there would be as many upgrades. So at the end of the month, I didn't need to increase the limit. I'm reconsidering printing twice as many PWYW. I'll talk more with my core retailers what they want, but it seems like they want mostly deluxe versions.

The GB CA EU look like flags on my computer, and the text looks fine on my phone. I need to work more devices into my creation process, like when I made mobile games we would test on all types of platforms to make sure the UI worked everywhere. Thanks for the heads up!

I got his all-in pledge in his last campaign. So many games! And he keeps sending updates for the old games too (around the time when a new game is released). 19 was a no-brainer cost for all-in, not sure if I would have lept so fast at a higher price.

Yes, that's exactly the point. We enjoy giving money to creators we respect and enjoy. When something is "dirty cheap" or "a steal" - there's a reason we use those terms to describe it. The best outcome is leaving you with a sense of "WORTH IT" after the purchase

Claims regarding training data set for SB are not true. It is not public domain, it is everything they managed to vacuum. He may have misunderstood how this works, thinking that finetuning with your own art changes anything. Current AI models are unethically, and probably not legally sourced. Time will tell. For me, this is the deal breaker, I will not back or play a game done with these generators, not in their current format. Most people will use this to cut corners. That is the reality.

Thanks for the tutorials - these are lifesavers! Wondering why after I switch to "Texture Coordinate - Generated" my texture's super zoomed in. Like only 5% of the texture itself is covering the entire surface of my token. Thanks for any help!

you need to fix the UV maps. Change it to UV instead of generated, go to the UV Maps screen (Top left corner) and go to edit mode. press "7" to look at the token from top view. press "U" and select project from view -> Bounds. Adjust on the UV Maps screen as necessary. Let me know if that worked!

Does this method prevent me from being to assign our cardboard token material to the edges? When I do so it doesn't work as I'd expect. I can apply textures, but specifically out token side one doesn't look right with this method. Thanks so much!@@orikagan
