I'm not gonna lie, my favorite part of any environment in this game, is the sky in chokma, there's just something so goddamn bizarre about the red and orange colour that makes it stick out in my mind

This brought back so many good memories, I played on my parent's lap since I was too scared when the dinosaur came running.

I lived on this game as a kid. And would 100% play it again as an adult.

Most of this is based in fact. Conspiracy is a crime on the books in the majority of nations. They don't create laws against things that don't exist.

My Dad would always talk about this game, trying to connect with my nerdy younger self. I joined freemasonry a few years ago, and this game came to mind when reading about various misconceptions/theories about masonry. Just watched this video and it's interesting seeing bits and pieces of esoteric topics sprinkled in the game. There's even a picture of a tiled floor and the Brazen Pillars, which is huge masonic imagery. Awesome video!

They're not misconceptions. The reference levels of Freemasonry above which you're given access by the organization.

Wonder if those friends that provided the quote were ever named. Seems odd they found him "demented" and saying such a thing. A detective might say it's too good to be true. I've known a poor man who actually stabbed himself in his temple trying to end it. However, slashing at one's own genitals multiple times is a hard one to wrap my head around.

This is honestly such an underrated creator. Amazing games covered, great writing and interesting takes on the media. I'll be honest, I've spent a lot of nights falling asleep to these videos. Once I know them, I can zone out and fall asleep. I'd love nothing more than getting more content from ARealHuman, but the important part is to follow wherever your own personal life goes. Be good to yourself.

Cant fuckibg type "A real human being i have no mouth and i must scream" it recommends any video but yours. Makes no sense. I know your name doesnt have spaces but this search algorithm is supposed to be so fuckin grand, its retarded. So are the people who made it. 😊

It's deeply poetic that Germany removing Nimdok and his portion of the game makes the best ending unobtainable. A culture cannot advance without staring the evils of its past in the face. Trying to deny that they existed (as with the censorship of IHNMaIMS) or pretending that they were actually good (I could name examples, but that would provoke a fight) keeps humanity from the best ending.

I found this installed in the computer lab back in junior high. I got to play it for one hour. The next day it was gone. For years, I thought it was some sort of fever dream.

What I find most funny looking back at this game as an adult having played it a TON as a child is that the Triceratops design model the game used is EXACTLY like the Jurassic Park Triceratops toy (minus the giant wound on the toy’s side) from 1993. If you don’t believe me, look at the triceratops model in this game then go look up the Kenner Jurassic Park Triceratops toy from ‘93.

The ending of this game was always confusing. You were told more than once that one of the lodges is lying to you. The judgement card makes it pretty obvious that Kether is the one lying as they hold the "firebird" and launch it. And yet they were both obviously lying to you as you get the "Fool" card no matter who you chose. HOWEVER...Cayce says pretty explicitly that you need to make your choice "between" the two lodges, which is the third ending that is literally "between." Is this the Dreamgate? A real pity the game was cut short at this point.

Harry used to do artwork for The Scotsman. His FINAL piece before his death was called "Atlantis Rising," and has themes from Drowned God in it...an image of ruins rising from the ocean while a surprised bull-man...yes, a manimal, as seen in Chesed, watches. You can still find that piece of artwork out there if you look.

I remember playing this when I was young (probably somewhere around the age of 4). The atmosphere was a bit scary for me, and I remember my first time after creating a dinosaur being jump-scared by one of them popping up in one of the randomest locations. But if I’m going to be honest, it does seem like this game had a similar atmosphere to Minecraft caves before that game even came out, and I’ve gotten quite used to that game’s atmosphere. So, yeah. This game has a big level of nostalgia for me.

My mom got this for my brother right around when I was born in ‘96 because she was worried he was spending too much time playing video games while she dealt with a new baby. Her way of having him learn while still giving him computer time. Course it didn’t work. Six years later though, we still have the same computer and I find the game, insisting on playing it. I spent hours in that virtual museum lol mom was happy someone got use out of it
