Hes saying it correctly guys. Im looking for a stainless for my 16foot grumman with a 30hp yamaha built 2 cyl 2t 1986mariner currently running a solas 12 allonimun pitch getting 28mph. So its real close to correct i just want more durability and a little more efficient. Most 30 hp motors should have between 11 and 13 pitch three blade alooonimun prop. 15 pitch is too much 15 pitch is for a 40 or50 hp Yea it might get a higher top speed WOT. but it will be a dog getting there on a 30hp outboard. And wont have any bow lift and holeshot

Mine replacement stuff came with a big O-ring for the top of the impeller assembly and then a small O-ring about the diameter of a dime…..any idea where the smaller one is supposed to go?!?? I just left it out 😢

I had a 10.3x 12 p on my evinrude 25hp on 15.5X42 jon boat trim slot 2 pinned 21 mph 4500 rpm. then a 10.8x 10P 23mph 5350 rpm.

I've been watching a ton of clips on fixing my water pump on my dad's old 1979 6 horse Johnson. I've had it in storage for close to 25 years and now finally I'm trying to get it ready. The motor cranked pretty easy but no water pumped out any hole. You're video shows everything up close and simple. Thanks for making it and instructing in simple terms. I've been watching tons of videos on how to change everything out and to be honest you're video has been the best. Thanks again.

I can idle the boat.I can wrap the boat 2 to 3000 rpm no problem However when I throttle up it does The boatyard says you need a new engine, but nobody looking into what the problem is any ideas thousand r p m steady Thank you Anthony

Happens on trucks from road salt in the winter all the time. Use urethan sealer. Bonds to aluminum and contracts and shrinks with the cold and hot well. It’s used to seal windows to aluminum and other stuff like siding. I cover tanks where the bands or straps holding it on. Corrosion always happens between the bank and the rubber grommet.

Have you ever heard of the motor over cooling? My 25 hp 1984 evinrude I think my water is by passing the thermostat. The part of the head where the rubber stat seals looks all rough and corroded. The engine never warms up About 107 degrees I tested the thermostat starts to open right at 143 degrees What do think?

I removed the lower gear case from a 2000 8 hp Johnson but the drive shaft is still stuck in the power head. Any suggestions of how to remove it, as it is very stuck?

60 HP e-tec engine will not start unless you unplug the fuel pump wire. then it will start up. Then plug it back in and it will run until you turn it off then it will not start up again until unplug the fuel pump wire. Anyone heard of this happening? I have new injectors, new fuel pump, new lift pump, new coils. all the voltage seam to be right oil pump is working. Anyone got a clue about this.

Mine idles great smooth. When I twist the handle to half throttle or more drops dead - no fuel even when squeezing the bulb 🤔

Every time I need to tune up my 1977 Johnson 35 hp, I always come searching for this video it's a great walkthrough off all the factors involved in throttle control. A little backstory and then straight and to the point. Thanks OM

I have fixed this problem for my neighbor 2x now. The problem I have found is that using regular fuel line for this repair will make it fail in pretty short order. Most fuel line is not rated for being submerged in gas. The fuel line needs to meet the SAE 30 R10 standard. Most auto parts stores do not stock it, but can order it and have it in store in a day or two. The cost on it is about $20-$30 per foot, but it beats doing this job multiple times. I am about to tear into his for the 3rd time. Hopefully this will be the last.
