i will explain she didint sad all true, yes you may use her and yes they do this, but it will cost you so much not worth as they after 20 retire to eventually have fun :D all that crap is bs. geisha is basically a host you pay she comes, basically old fart sits and calls geisha for fun. so men can buy her which will cost too much as her virginity is owned by house. so thery try to sell it as she owns money to house. read books boys and girls.
I like to think that Komurasaki's suicide, while sad, was her final huge "fuck you" to the owner

A very well-written and concise presentation, using the right words with clarity and without superfluous sentence. ! Single women can get pregnant through artificial insemination procedures, therefore homosexuality does not necessarily result in low birth rate. It should be noted that in the 20th and 21th C., Japanese entertainment industry has produced the all-female Takarazuka Revue (1913), then the all-female idol group (which has South Korean and Chinese versions later, such as the SNH48 Group and its 4 regional branches in China), the Manga lesbian books, the Yuri-themed (百合 or White Lily, a term still used by South Korea and China’s lesbian-themed entertainment products) movies/tv series etc…. Therefore, this Japanese sub-culture even still very underground in the country, has influenced other lesbian cultures in East and Southeast Asia. Japanese women are probably the least liberated among women in developed nations, in comparison even to China, they do not enjoy the same freedom “to be themselves and to live their life according to their aspirations” as young Chinese women in the first quarter of the 21st C. For example, the majority of Chinese female performers of the show biz industry do have the courage to express their sexual orientation in public without having the resulting negative consequences, many mainstream actresses/singers as well as younger entertainers of the SNH48 and its 4 regional branches are openly lesbians and live as couples. With regards to these latter, they are welcomed by their millions of fans and encouraged by their employer to be in partnership with each other. Further, the lesbian live-streamers community is very active in China, these young lesbians are very popular and garner millions of fans in the country, they do live-streaming at least 3 times a week and maintain a strong network not only between themselves but also with their female fans. Due to its large demographics, China has the largest lesbian population in the world, also has the largest production of lesbian-themed entertainment products !

I hate that they leave out the men and boys that are in the same positions and or get sexually exploited without even getting paid for the service. The double standard is real even in traditional countries.

Families sell their children to these people, and they are SLAVES for the rest of their lives. If you do research, some they were sold to these brothels and if they are lucky, one of these men will choose them to be their forever servant. Stop the propaganda! This is child trafficking!
@FlyGemini797 ай бұрын
I am disgusted by these comments. These are young girls being groomed to be servants for random wealthy men. This girl was 16! There is nothing beautiful about that. If you do research, you will notice these girls work tirelessly daily...in the morning, they go through grueling training, and at night, they are at parties with billionaires who plow them with liquor. They get home at 2 or 3 in the morning. They don't get but a few days off out of a whole year! All of these women have sadness in their eyes. They are slaves. And with the Kimono...lets not get it twisted. You notice only certain men can get them ready for their "tea parties"? They are making sure none of the miekos or geishas have not been tainted. They can't take take their clothes off with that elaborate Kimono you come back to the brothel (aka the official geisha house). I'm just going to end here because I'm disturbed.

there is a disinterest in the lesbian experience. many people (especially straight women) are interested in mlm relationships, but not that many care about the emotional depth behind a lesbian one (another form of misogyny). you can even see it in manga and anime. there are far more yaoi/shounen-ai manga than yuri/shoujo-ai ones. they also tend to have a bigger budget behind them. but i think more people will start caring the more they are exposed to media such as this. great video 👏
@cuppeach68808 ай бұрын
Are you seriusly trying to victimize lesbians? Theyre the most privileged but they do nothing with their privileged. Gays are discriminated against and have laws against them and were forced to build a community. Lesbians were not, so they never felt the need to build their own community. Lesbians are fetishized by straight men, and gays are fetishized by straight women. That's how it works. What are you complaining about?

This is well written and a unique perspective when compared with the so-called "progressive West", where minority identity tags are now considered as justification for being socially elevated, rather than suppressed or ignored. Now, if you are an able-bodied heterosexual white male, your social credit score is waning to the point of irrelevance. If you are black, gay/trans and disabled, your social position is truly "peak". That is my opinion.

Tayuu were imperial entertainers who NEVER offered sexual services of any kind. They were some of the most educated women of their day and they were treasued and respected even by the Emperor himself, and could even REFUSE an invitation to his banquet. The confusion between these sacred artisans and the noble prostitutes comes from oiran taking fashion cues from the tayuu, copying their hair accessories and kimono styles when they performed something called the "oiran dochu," which would have been the only time the general public saw them out and about. Some oiran even went as far as to call themselves tayuu to sound even more noble due to the respect that came with such a title. The proper umbrella term for prostitues was "yuujo." Tayuu were also only based in the city of Kyoto, because the imperial family resided there during the era of the Shogunate, when their practice first popped up. When power was returned to the Emperor in 1869, he and his court moved to Tokyo and the tayuu lost their clientele. This is what made them decline so quickly. Now, it's worth pointing out that oiran and most other yuujo were also highly educated and skilled and deserved the respect they received. They were, by all accounts, artisans in addition to being prostitutes, and are even today mistaken by historians as tayuu because of this. Yuujo were so much more than pretty women in expensive clothes who played music. They were women who suffered for centuries at the hands of vapid, wealthy men who wished to have their way with them. History has largely forgotten these women, with not even so much as a mention of their existence to be found anywhere in the former pleasure districts. No plaque, monument, nothing. They were cultural icons and ironically played a massive role in preserving traditional arts, yet they've been forgotten by the world. These extraordinary women deserve so much more recognition for the lives they were subjected to.
