0ne of the typical aspects of 0PEN W0RLD that I detest, which was highly popularized by SKYRlM, is the FAST TRAVEL, since in short what it does is casualize or trivialize the exploration of that world itself way too much. The fact that DEM0N'S S0ULS wasn't constantly holding my hand by allowing me to do FAST TRAVEL whenever I wanted (when out of combat) was one of the aspects of it that I liked the most. Too bad I can't say the same about ELDEN RlNG.

I think the game was good but not great. I think I got sick of the collectibles quests, side content was lacking, most of the villains were lacking. It just seemed the story was lacking

Honestly I’m so glad u mentioned the combat man cuz this was what I been saying I was really disappointed cuz not enough was added. you can’t bloody double/ triple finish enemies or even dodge 2 enemies at the same time, Lack of button combination is what killed this game, it’s the same spam one button. You’d think Peter who’s been spidey for almost a decade will be more than one dimensional on how he fights. Heck even the damn black suit there’s no damn difference to how Peter fights or dodges, it’s the same animations…. apart from rage mode but outside of that, ur playing the same way. Now the swinging, besides the loop de loop/ corner tether and slingshot. There’s still very lack of variation. Cons- You can’t slingshot up while running on wall, you can’t grid while swinging. Can’t grind on surfaces while parkour BUT YOU CAN SURF ON THE WATER??? Can’t manually double hand web zip/ there’s no creative ways to pull yourself upwards to start swinging (just slingshot or point launch) no web tunnels thru shops/ windows/ helicopters. All of those things were missing and it was what I really disappointed about, that’s why the game didn’t blow me away and didn’t deserve game of the year

I may be the first one to say this but marvels Spider-Man 2 has really died out since release man. Feels like this game went 2 steps back compared to the first game. Swinging/ combat wise they taken stuffs out which angered me and also they didn’t go beyond in that aspect. The game has been out for 7 MONTHS….. and still no dlc and ppl wonder why the game is dying. I got bored of this game cuz it didn’t have that replay value like it did the first gam. Also another reason why this game is dead is cuz the symbiote plays the exact same way as the other regular suits (apart from surge) but outside of that it’s the same combat/ dodge/ swing animations and the finishers… you can’t even morph into the symbiote in the game🤦🏾‍♂️ it don’t feel different when wearing it cuz it doesn’t play different. Insomniac really let me down

People need to quit crying. There are some differences I’m not particularly thrilled about but who cares.

In my opinion, its pretty great. As a hardcore Star Wars fan, gotta admit, I really loved the combat and story, but the last one fell short. The combat, though really repetitive, is enjoyable and I love how you can switch between stances during combat to make flawless combos, and I liked how you could take control over some enemies from afar with BD’s electric dart. Also, it does seem like you haven’t played the first game, because in the first game, you had only 2 and a half stances, as the Dual Wield was a special move. In Survivor, they added 3 whole new stances with brand new skill trees, and one skill tree is as big in Survivor as the entire one in Fallen Order. There’s a plethora of new abilities, stances, skills, and everything has been expanded upon. The Double-Bladed stance in Fallen Order was hot trash so they did a complete rework for Survivor. The story however, I didn’t really enjoy. The thing about Tanalorr is that they hype it up so much, every character is talking about it and is obsessed over it, and when you get there, there is literally nothing to do. You can’t even explore the otherwise beautiful landscape they created there. Bode’s betrayal was surprising but I expected it to some degree, but the reveal that he is a Jedi caught me completely off-guard. The final act after Bode’s betrayal was the best part of the game for me, and other parts of the story are repetitive. Its something like: “Retrieve an artifact on Koboh, go to Jedha for old man to see it” on repeat. The game is decent. Its story is boring and repetitive all until the final act. The combat is enjoyable but is also repetitive. But even through its flaws I can still see its really good, 7.5/10 for me. And, for clarification, it isn’t worth 70 bucks at all. It should’ve been at the very least 40.

Ive played every game on release and followed development as much as stipo the archiver... it looks alright, people love to complain. Everyone whos a real fan says it looks alright including stipo. Everyone in the actual community like its and has pre ordered for the sole reason it might revive the franchise again. Hate all yall want but this looks A: Better than the original and Xbox version. I know, i own them. B: we get OG frank and chuck green. Dont like pre-ordering for them then cope. Its 3 skins, the original had none. C: DeadRising 4, Chop Till You Drop, DR3, DR2 and DLCs, DR2 OTR, DR1. Thats from bad to good. This remaster will probably be better than OTR and they made frank fat/older looking as well.
