343 industries were a split off of bungie, the makers of the first few halo games. The number is a reference to 343 guilty spark, the monitor of insulation 04, the halo of halo combat evolved

It's an interesting case for sure. The game got two separate big breaks on twitch years apart. Yet they couldn't keep people engaged because of the lack of content. Ian needs to work on a plan for long term success. If this game is just another fad like splitgate it will surely die

i think they killed it themselves, they stopped updating splitgate right when it was losing its temporary (big) playerbase, and gaining its dedicated (smaller) playerbase.

I really hope they keep the same mechanics as the first game. One thing I hated about Halo Infinite was how badly they ruined what was already a perfect game engine. I also hope they keep the game cross platform, I really don't wanna buy a Series X just to play Splitgate 2.
