Love how clearly you explain what you are doing and how to correct things if needed. I am learning lots. I'm 70 years old, relatively new to watercolour painting but absolutely love it and enjoy it with my grandchildren too although what we produce isnt perfect, it doesnt matter one bit. Just finished my colorful cow and I love it!!! My husband saw my sketch and the first color I put down...he guessed an elephant but when I showed what I had done, he said right away "oh a cow!"

I enjoyed this...my fav colors...just inking two buildings was just enough accent. Fun...

WOW…..you worked your magic on this one. I don’t think you can do a bad watercolor. Love 4 on a page so much, especially when there is a theme like sunsets, etc.

That's ok, I think the drawing is excellent but then I didn't see the mistakes being erased. Honestly I knew I would be using my stamp image I have, but I didn't just stamp into my sketch book, I did a tracing transfer, I didn't want a big black outline, which is hard to disguise, so it is a pencil sketch, I' ve had this image for about a year, and so far I haven't painted it successfully, so I will follow your guidance for the painting. Thanks for sharing, it's always a pleasure to see what you're doing.

Love your watercolor journals! I've done most of them. What I love most is the variety: landscape, animals, flowers, abstract, ink and watercolor... even some gnomes. So fun to try it all. Sometimes I love the result, sometimes not... but it's all great to try!

Fun, this exercise. Only wish that both peaches were visible of the two that were previously painted, while you were painting two again. I realize that the reference was a real peach plus your visual image of a peach, and not a reference image, so the goal wasn't to replicate the first two painted peaches, but similarities between the first two and the second two seem apparent, which are fun for comparison. Hope not too convoluted, this comment. Thank you.

Finally got my Baohong sketchbook I’ve been waiting on forever, and I’m finally coming back to this “not precious” painting to try to break in my “not precious” new sketchbook. Wow, what wonderful paper! And such a lovely lovely tutorial, thank you!
