he did well but likely coming off the bench would be all he would've been used for. Hayne is pretty quick but not off the mark, so maybe a punt of kick returner position that lets him wind up his speed and pick his options is good. His league instincts to fend too had to get worked out, in NFL sticking out a fend ahead of a committed tackle gives the defense something to grab to bring you down, hence the fend is used very carefully and strategically. That said, Hayne did pretty well for someone straight out of NRL into the NFL and never having played a full american football game before an NFL game. that is insane. Hayne was great for NFL, wish he'd been a bit more gentlemanly, we'd see him tearing it up for the Eels still.
