Do you need a 4 inch, or a 7 inch T15 screwdriver? I've replaced both filters already, and cleaned all externals, so the cyclones are the last area to clean.

@@billkallas1762 I don't remember but if you have to buy either one it's better to go with the longer one.

@@mek4321 Thanks....That's what I was thinking. Once I fix the cyclones, it should be as good as new. I need to double check the short hose next to the beater bar for any small holes. I believe that they are also available from Amazon.

Do you still have the other dysons like the dc23 dc17 dc33 dc35 and big ball one
@mek43212 жыл бұрын
Yes, my dyson collection has gotten out of hand lol. I have 2X-dc17, dc23, dc33, dc35, v6, 2X-dc50, up15, dc39, cy22, dc40, 2X-up13. the brush bar motors on the DC17s make a bad noise but still work and the one UP13 I got out of the trash has a dead primary motor that I cant find affordable properly sized replacement carbon brushes for. Other than that they all work and are spread out between my house and my parents house. I think the up15 is the best overall.
@lunasstatus12752 жыл бұрын
@@mek4321 have you ever thought to get rid of any dysons
@mek43212 жыл бұрын
@@lunasstatus1275 I probably will when we get rid of the wall to wall carpeting in my house. Although I keep the older ones around and use them like shop vacs and different ones work better on different floor types.

I absolutely love how you made this tutorial on cleaning the DC17! I wish more people would realize that listening to them chatting, instead of speeding up the video feed like you did is such a time saver! I barely have enough time in a day as it is! Thank you for your considerable insight! Amazing!

This laptop I own but it stopped showing anything on the screen years ago. I tried connecting to an external display and still no image, power does go through the rest of the ports, drive spins up along with the disc tray and fan, yet no post. The chip next to the ram sticks gets super hot, is that normal?(currently tore down the system to attempt a repair)
