Seems like a lot of unnecessary weight has been added with thicker/more wood, bondo, and scale bits. And why add thickness to the tail to make it "more scale", then leave the trailing edges of the elevators and rudder extra thick instead of tapered like a real P-51? My guess is it's going to be excessively heavy and fly very poorly.
@BuildingFromScratch Жыл бұрын
Sorry it took so long to replay, but I just got out of the hospital. The balsa wood added was only 1/8 inch on each side of the tail to hide the wires for the tail clearance light and the elevators to make them propionate to the tail. The weight added was very small. The Bondo I used is a light weight Bondo and was only to fill in some low spots. As it is, after installing the engine the plane in nose heavy add I will have to add some weight behind the COG to balance it out.

Dude.. can you please do us a little favor.. turn your video background music either off or way down.. Because I can hear the music more them you? Sorry to say that. BTW I have a Tronxy X5SA an 2020 updated version the company said. But it been a pain trying to level the big 13 inch bed with 6 adjustment screws. the auto leveling blue sensor is crap it only detects the base metal under the bed surface making leveling a nightmare.. I spent once 4 hours trying to auto level and manual level it and got no way fast. The printer was then covered up with a old sleeping blanket and left until now. I got a Aquila be Voxelab and a FL SUN Delta since the Tronxy was non working well. so much better, I did upgrade the Tronxy before leaving it stored.. I brought a Titan extruder by Tronxy and a Ultra Flex rubber magnetic based bed for it. but the leveling still was a impossible hell. I have added a 3D bed leveling probe to the Aquila and the Delta QQ-S Pro has one already both now got PEI magnetic sheet beds. I may try to re-do the Tronxy later. get a auto leveler and we see?

That takes guts to not check the alignment before putting the epoxy on.

I spent hours trying to get it square finally found the problem which is very simple the printer needs to be siting on a flat level surface if one corner is down it pulls the whole printer out of whack. the printer measured from corner to corner had to be 729mm by 729 mm. Needs some solid wide corner gussets. And adjustable feet
@BuildingFromScratch2 жыл бұрын
I waited to put the feet on later for two reasons. First, as you said, the frame needed to be on a flat surface. Second, I couldn't find the right size screws till then. LOL

I was confused so much code hahaha, greetings from Mexico keep it up king
@BuildingFromScratch3 жыл бұрын
If you think that was a lot of coding, just wait until part 9.5 in which I am adding 2 OLED, 2 temperature sensors, 2 Ultrasonic sensors, and an I/O expander to everything. Now that will be a lot of coding, LOL. If you download the codes, I try to put an explanation of what does what into the code.

Great Video i saw many tutorials like this but i am stuck on no device discovering issue tried reboot alexa but non results can you help me i'm using esp32 firebettle wroom 32 board
@BuildingFromScratch3 жыл бұрын
As it said in the video, I had that problem and found that first, if you are going to have more than 10 devices, you need to go into the espalexa.h file and edit the line that says "define ESPALEXA_MAXDEVICES" and change the number after that to the number of devices you are going to use. Next in your sketch, the first thing that you should have in the "void loop()" is this " espalexa.loop();" Next line should be " delay(10);". Whatever you do, you need to make sure your delay is at least 5 or more. Any shorter, it will run the loop too fast for Alexa to find your devices.

I recently returned to the hobby after a 30 year break. I was horrified to see people sticking servo warts on the outside of there otherwise sleek aircraft. Please stop the madness!

I was going to place the 2 in the rear outside but after looking at it I decided that it may be convenient but it made the plane look like crap. I decide to go with putting them put towards the front and run the small guild link cables, I will show that when I get the room to finish the next video on this plane.

Thanks Katar. I literally cried for hours when he died in my arms. I am now in a place where I had to give up Garfield and Mola. I am working on a new project that hopefully will get me out of here where I can have my space and my cats. Watch for my new video that will explain the new project. Again thanks

If this is going to be your first build I would suggest starting with a SIG Kadet. I know the plane is for beginner flyers but it is the best build for starter builders. It is a simple design and the least expensive to build. I believe it is only a 3 channel plane. This one I am doing now was only a 4 channel, but with all of my modifications it is now a 7 channel. I will be putting up more videos soon. I would have done more sooner but I just got out of the hospital and placed in an Assisted Living Facility, so I have to make a new work table.

Great videos keep them coming! Looking forward to your next one. I’m having a hard time deciding on what plane to do for my first one. I’m leaning towards the Sig four star 40 right now for my first build and then maybe a warbird or cub for my second build. Keep up the good work.👍🏻
