1. Training is ongoing, there is no how long should I do it for, you have to be consistent 5-6 times a week, every week. But instead of doing the same workout, you can try different training sessions. I have a whole library of videos on my channel check them out.

Yes you are correct, the cones and be used the learn the movement but to master it, one must practise with defenders in a game situation.
