I'm no expert at flipping at all, but I have a Mako, Swordfish, Nautilus, and Krake Raken (Tanto), and the Mako is BY FAR the best Squid Industries balisong to flip that I own!

You HAVE to replace those stock bearing with some ceramic skiffs Lucha comes with some sticky ass bearings that will pull the blade open way before hitting a pin. It makes it a blade that doesn’t flip the same trick the same way twice. Until you upgrade then you get a breathe of fresh air. Possibly anecdotal, but mine was def Garbo bearings
