A society like this would be amazing to witness. It's funny, back in the day everyone's imagination would depict the future (which is currently the present) just like this with hovering vehicles and travel tubes. As if it could/would/should be this way. Like tv shows would say "in the year of 2024, 35', 40'" 😆

Such a shame the dev didn't put little people in the game, the town didn't feel alive with it.

I would have loved to see an active city of little NPCs running around. I know someone made a mod for it a couple of years ago. Not sure if it is still supported/being developed.

Hello im a just a new player at Townscaper can you give me some hints how to make good towns in the game please?
@ScapeGoatofTownscaper7 күн бұрын
Hi! The best advice I could give to you is to be experimental. I noticed that a lot of the builds I truly appreciate are the ones where I tried different combinations compared to ones I execute often. This allows me to learn the game and use what I learned to improve my building. The video linked below should give you some good tips on how the game functions and how to achieve the aesthetic you want. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e7uUo62cqK67XWQ.html&ab_channel=ScapeGoat

I do love some aesthetic options, like turning off gurders and scaffold and force vaulted rendering. I see they've constructed it in a way to minimise/eliminate these features as i do, but it really constricts the creativity.

If this game has the same power on consoles I probably would've played it longer. It gets old much faster on consoles because of how limited the space is. No way I could make something like this on the Xbox version. Well _I_ couldn't make anything close to this regardless, but you know what I mean.
@ScapeGoatofTownscaper4 күн бұрын
Yes! I found myself not playing on mobile or oculus as much as I did when it was first released because of the limitations. Its still nice if you want to get a quick build in. However, it is definitely much better on PC.

steam next fest featured a couple creative mode building games similar to townscaper, one called _Dystopika_ and another called _SUMMERHOUSE,_ you should check them out! they both have free demos up rn.

I will have to look up Dystopika. I saw Summerhouse was being streamed by the developer I think last week, and I actually considered buying it. It looks like a very nice game to chill out and play. I might try it out

I'd like to see something this easy to use as an adventure development kit for an RPG or whatever. Like NWN but faster and nicer-looking.
