You need a company who has contracts! Not running off Central Disp exclusively! These 9 cars can gross a half million per year. As an owner op OTR you could take home a clean 250k up to 350k depending on your expenses and contracts and if you have a good tax accountant!

Quick question to all the car haulers out there. Do you know if the bigger yards allow drivers to use E scooters to find their units? My husband saw a few drivers using them in passing and any way I can make my amazing husbands job a little easier on his body would make me happy. People dont realize how dangerous car hauling is let alone what it does to your bodies. He is always walking miles to find units and just imagine how much time and energy he would save using a e scooter. He never spends money on himself and spoils me and the kids so if anyone has any info this wife would greatly appreciate it❤

I had bad training in the beginning. It used to take me so long to load up my truck. When I started back in 2002, it was all chains. No one ever taught me how to not be a bar chaser. What I mean by that is I wasted a lot of time trying to hunt down where I laid my tie-down bar. It's slow in the beginning, but speed comes in its own time. I've seen a lot of drivers cause a lot of damage because they were trying to keep up with seasoned drivers. Also, if you're not willing to work in all the elements of the weather then this is not the business for you. And also be willing to ask questions. Drivers who don't ask questions will make mistakes. Sometimes mistakes can be so bad it means unloading your truck and starting from the beginning.

Your a sellout brother. United Road likely pushed you out because of you doing these videos. Now your videos show a disclaimer that you use hands free devices for recording while driving. Put two and two together and it equals getting fired for filming while driving. Now you are running with Waddle and praising them for giving you a new truck bla, bla, bla. Next thing your videos will have is product advertising for Golden Corral or some shit! Lol. You talk a good game but your just another carhaul vlogger that unsuspecting viewers watch not knowing anything about the business. You and the other sellout, you know, your buddy Jenzi G, should just have a channel instead of pretending to know this business

What area are you trying to get hired on at the mid west Philly out south east? And really it’s kinda just a waiting game for them to call you. But they are looking for hustlers they don’t want people that will spend hours loading 14 hours in a hotel every night and 8 hour drivers they’re looking for go getter type of people.

I’m from a GM town in Michigan. I did 42 years behind the wheel of a big truck. Been retired about 10 years. Are parking lots,Tankers and gravel trains still the high dollar jobs they used to be?? Are there even union jobs left out there?? Giving one of my nephews a truck ride this afternoon. I’m sure he’ll be on my ass about something, right?? Anymore problem give me a morning wake-up. I’ll get them unloaded and maybe hang out for a few hours. Pretty sure they are partnering up with big boy to go fishing.

Tankers and parking lots stop pay very well but I don’t know about the gravel trains any more I think that pays pretty bad at this point. As for the unions there’s still 3 car hauling union companies out there and I think from what I’ve been hearing United is about to join the union. Every driver I’ve talked to over the last month that drives for them has already signed their cards so who knows

Ok so I’d say there’s kinda 2 ways to get into car hauling. First is gonna be keep applying at the big companies the Hansen and Adkins the United roads the Jack coopers type of companies they normally have a training program. Otherwise you’ll need to go to the auto auction and start asking around in the truck lot if any of those mom and pop companies are hiring and if they would train you. It’s hard to get into it but once you do you’ll be a car hauler for life.
