The mine at the beginning is the Theresa. Is that one you went in?
@mountainmineexplorers11 күн бұрын
@@BlackOwl136 Nope it was a different mine, don’t think there is a way into the teresa or at least not that we have found yet😉 I mismatch topside locations so the real location is still secret.

How far were you from the portal?
@mountainmineexplorers11 күн бұрын
I was in about 300 feet
@AbandonedMines1110 күн бұрын
@@mountainmineexplorers That’s far enough! Do you know what the oxygen level was on the readout on your meter when it started sounding its alarm? If it was at 19% or 18% or even 17% that is probably still safe to continue. Anything below 17% is getting pretty risky and warrants heading back to the portal.

In an abandoned mine with rushing water and a partial collapse. Yeah, I can think of better ways to win a Darwin Award.

Oh man how do you know if more water will come 😮 I’d be worried of floods like a storm drain

It has a way out no way of it rising quick enough to go over our heads, the tunnel is huge 6 feet wide by 10-12 feet tall

Never seen a mine have this much flow the video doesn’t do it justice. We could’ve brought tubes and floated from one side of the mine to another

@@mountainmineexplorers we like to hear the ambient sounds of the location. Not listen to the local radio station's latest count down of songs. Take the time on location to describe things as they appear to you in person, because somethings aren't captured the same with a cam when compared to being there. Don't worry about how you sound as long as you can tell us what things are like, we don't mind. I hope you all the best with your future explores, keep safe. I look forward to seeing your future uploads. Cheers from Australia.

@@TheHungrySlugHey, I actually appreciate the feedback, this is my “uncommon style” of video that was more of a montage of the Mine. My future videos will be more of a fuller video without music and the natural sounds of the mine. I will also take more time to go over what time finding! Thanks again for the input I hope you enjoy my future videos!

I was just thinking about that the other day, and how I find so much enjoyment exploring, and that the miners once probably hated having to go into work inside the mines. And the sound, I wonder how much louder it would be then vs the complete silence they are now.

@Measuring_Mountains7 ай бұрын
just a suggestion from a fellow mine explorer, prospector, and climber... Maybe DONT mention the names of the mines and their location so future generations can enjoy them and experience the fun that we have. when you state the names and location they are more likely to be closed off, and made inaccessible by the BLM. just saying. if people wanna know where they are they can ask in a private message.
