You seem to be at about the same stage as me. I dont take any money and i put it all back in as well. My etsy shop is at about 3 sales a week and my market stalls are now at about 80 a day. but its building week on week.

Hey girl, love your videos so much. I'm starting a shop too, but I wanted to mention that the summer season is extremely slow every year because everyone is out doors and not online. But the holiday season is where sales really pick up, so don't feel too bad about slow sales right now. Everyone always says that its best to spend the summer prepping products and getting stuff listed for the holiday season before sales pick up so you can be ahead of the curve. Just wanted to let you know cause I love your stuff and don't want you feeling bad about all of this. Edit to add, Starla Moore is an AMAZING resource if you want help with Etsy specifically since you mentioned you don't use it much

Honestly working full time just destroys my will to anything, even though I work from home... I love drawing, I studied concept art, I have drawn 3 times this year because after work I just want to stare at the wall.... i really feel that doing both is so hard 😢

There will always be ups and downs. When I look back on the last 3 years I see that the downs always hit me at the same time of the year. sept/oct and april/mai were always bad... but bad phases were always followed by the some really great months 🎉

You should get a sketchboard pro or something similar for your iPad. It’s like a little easel but with a spot to stick your iPad and it raises your iPad up higher so you’re not as hunched over when you’re drawing.

Have you seen the etsy video hacks by Starla Moore? I have two shops on etsy and summer has always been the worst for them, but she goes into depth about how to tailor your key words and what specifically the algorithm is looking for (and how long it takes for it to recognize your changes) She does offer a key word service (what is most popular, trends, etc) but it is also free to use up to a certain number a day. It's worth checking out if you have the time.

Hehe I relate the the pre livestream chaos so much! When I did my first stream I realised 30 mins before that I didn't have the right cable. So I had to rush off to Sainsbury's to buy it, then on the way back home I realised it was the wrong cable, so in shear panic zoomed off to PC world and thank god they had the right cable! Finally managed to start the livestream an hour later than advertised and to top it all off, for the first 10 mins my mic wasn't turned on so no one could hear me 😳 ahhh the joys of livestreams... other than that it went well!

Im so glad i found your channel!! I needed to find one like this❤. You seem so real and authentic! Like u really tell how it is to start a biz in all the different little ways and how it is in the beginning stages unlike others that dont tell the full truth or make a title like how to easily make 100k on etsy. The thing im interested in is if you made a video on time management on how your doing youtube, etsy, and working your full time job? Like tips on how you can balance all that and still get everything done plus have a little you time. That video idea honestly i think would help a few of us out here that want to get into this small biz lifestyle. I been wanting to start my biz since 2021 or so but been too scared because i dont want to fail and have no clue about the online biz world..

To put Etsy into perspective, the CEO of Etsy profited $8 billion off of small businesses in 2023 and have given nothing in return or in support of the small businesses that brought in those profits for someone who only ran a website. But on top of that outrage Etsy has made no effort to create a solution for businesses stealing art/products from creators and those who sell AI art. Businesses are leaving Etsy more and more everyday. If you can leave as soon as possible.

It’s very natural feel different energy, mood, stuck or not very creative some days. It also happens to me, but do as you’ve done, try to do another type of tasks or just rest a bit. We need to recharge our minds and body, but as a small entrepreneurs, sometimes we omit that and it’s important for our mental and body health!

I love my Cricut machines. I have made thousands of stickers including easy peel, sticker sheets, and diecut . I’m glad that you found a machine that works for you.
