I love skating but it's hard for me to enjoy at the moment because of how terrified I get and how embarrassed every time I fall. I want to get better but it's hard for me to motivate myself. I searched "inline skating motivation" and found this 😊 thank you.

when you transition to backwards do you put your weight on the front wheels? Because thats the only way i could archive the change of direction today. I tried to follow your instructions, but when i do one foot after the other, its getting very bumpy. Just using the front wheel as a pivot point did it, but i dont know, if i have a good foot position for the stopping then..🤔 I'll have to try next time more

Wow that high jump was impressive....❤ How many times per week on average did you skate during this progression? Btw. well done. I do mainly fitnes skating, not doing anybtricks, even though i have started years ago, so i want to improve. Thx

Ha! funny. I watched your skate molding with hot gun video because I bought a pair of Imperial jade 4x80 in 42 cause there was no 43. I decided to risk it and indeed the skates were quite narrow for my foot. Definitely not the right size. What I did was to use your technique and expand the toe box. I really had to go to town with them if I wanted to keep them so I did the molding around 8 times until there was enough room. Part of the fact I did it so many times is that I didn't want to make the plastic shiny so I always went carefully. Now I just love those skates. With red laces and red LED wheels they simply look stunning. The Imperial boot/cuff is super stiff (you can tell is plastic and fiberglass), I really love it, definitely one of my fav setups.

Hi, just come across your video, I know it’s 4 years ago, did you have to mould the top cuff too? I have a damaged ankle and need to mould my boot but need to know if I need to mould the cuff too. I look forward to pain free skating again :) I do hope you’re able to respond. Many thanks in advance.

Used to skate in the 90s and recently I wanted to get a bit fitter again so tried the gym but soon got bored as I just didn’t have any passion for it, so I’m 43 now and just bought some blades ( much to the amusement of my wife and kids) I instantly remembered how to skate and it brought loads of memories of my childhood back, not to mention how good an exercise it is, never too late to get back into

I'm currently using some K2 inline skates which I'm looking to upgrade. I find there's not much support and have been thinking about a FR1 boot with 5 x80 frames to add some more stability as I'm still learning. I like a free flowing style skate at a relaxed pace. Have you tried riding any 5 frame set ups? 👍 Great channel by the way!

Any recommendations aside from just simple practice if you transition from quads and find in-line extremely heavy… trying to learn and maneuver seems a bit more time consuming due to weight of skates. Feels like I’m carrying around boulders!! Lol. Is that normal and just a matter of building leg muscles( slim with scrawny legs…)?
@t.terrell7037
@t.terrell7037 3 ай бұрын
All these moves seem for more intermediate skaters. Coming from quads it’s frustrating to get a nice flow going but not being able to just stop immediately without damaging my skates😢seems like you can hurt your back trying to drag a skate behind as a beginner
