I was considering the new Taco, I like the looks of them but I had a turbo Subaru and did not want another turbo engine, not saying I had bad experience, cause I did not, Subaru is good stuff. So I opted for the 2023 Frontier PRO4X and love it.. The TRD Sport, I like that hood man..

The main reason i dont like the turbo is because you are maxed out in Bhp and torque. My 2022 has a supercharger on it already thst i put on. Its pulling fairly close to 400 bhp. 371bhp. And the fuel economy is still 21 mpg. And easier to work on.

I don't need heated front seats, what I want is 14in infontainment system, sunroof, sliding rear window, 4X4, auto, white, solar octane color.

Nice ! Like I said in the video, I’m on the fourth GEN page on Facebook so I do hear of horror stories every now and again, but a lot of people are just happy. I’ve had a gen2 and 2 gen 3 tacomas. Got a 24 trd off road premium a month ago, solar octane. Love it, drives so much better than previous gems. Only time will tell about reliability. Tranny is so much smoother as well.

I know right lol I love my truck just put 50 bucks in the gas tank and I really do enjoy driving it. It’s awesome truck and I still have a few more things that I want to do to it definitely want to try to hold onto it for as long as possible. ! I still can’t quite wrap my head around the price though ! All I really need on my truck is that Wescott lift and 285s and may be a few other mods and I think I would completely forget about the fourth generation Tacoma ! I agree this truck fixes many issues of the third gen. I personally think the turbo gives it the needed low end torque that was lacking before. Better seating up front as well. The reports of over heating transmission is of major concern for me. I strongly suggest waiting a few years to see how the reliability pans out. But the biggest flaw is the price. That in itself is the total show stopper. I'll never own one. Nobody can convince otherwise that its "worth" that much of a toyota tax.

How we doing Kenny God bless you as I’ve been seeing more gen 4s in my area definitely would like to talk the owners and see how they like the new platform as I do like the gen 4 but not paying more for less payload smaller gas tank and also same horsepower for the non hybrid version compared to the v6 as I’m keeping my 2019 off road to the wheels fall off as I use the truck for delivery’s it’s getting the Job done

I absolutely believe if you have a third generation Tacoma with low miles there is no need to upgrade at this point unless you just really have to have the truck the third generation. Tacoma is pretty much perfect. It has everything you need and pretty much nothing that you don’t. I pretty much fall in love with my truck again every time I drive it lol ! I definitely don’t need a new truck. Would I like a new 2024 Trd pro Tacoma probably yes lol thanks for the reply and the feedback, my friend. I really appreciate all the support Have a great week.

Really. If you already have a Tacoma. I dont see the point in moving up generations. The midsize truck you have does what you need it to . Not much difference. And i assume most people buy a tacoma for long term reliability. So trading your Tacoma in, kind of ruins the point of even buying it in the first place. Because you bought it so you wouldn't have to buy another car for years. So trading seems contradictory to the reason you bought the one you have. Run what you have and bank the money. So you trade a proven platform for.. What? If you want the newest edition of anything and don't care as much about long term then you probably shouldn't even be buying any Tacoma

Yeah I understand that but I really like the new horsepower and torque number of the New Tacoma Pro ! I am one of those people who tend to like the latest and greatest design, and I’m not afraid to admit that that’s just who I am as a person ! My 2023 Trd pro Tacoma is probably the best midsize truck on the market without a doubt, and I absolutely love it if I could keep that and get a new generation, Trd pro that would be awesome but I’m really trying to be realistic here I’m not rich or anything close to being rich so I would definitely have to make something happen ! But this is just all speculation nothing is set in stone. I just honestly like the new redesign and I like the horsepower and I’ve only been into the Toyota Tacoma’s for a couple of years, but this is kind of what I imagined the new truck would look like and it has a lot of new cool features of my truck just doesn’t have thanks for the reply, and the feedback, my friend. I could probably buy a few new Tacomas. But it be stupid. Worse yet I would be losing at least 5k to have pretty much the same thing I already have. A mid size truck. Seems kinda dumb. I was offered 40k car max. Dealer is 42k. But then I lose more money and have to buy another. I would rather not deal with it. Buy it and forget it. Bought the one I have and forget it. On to more important things than a Tacoma. 🤣 It's just a midsized pickup. Who cares. It does what you need. Then who cares

I have owned three third gen Tacomas. I test drove the 2024 and immediately thought the seating position was greatly improved. Eight speed transmission blows the six speed out of the water and the rear end handling was also improved. That said, I would rather eat like a vegan for a year than pay $52k for a Tacoma.

I too at times appreciate things more after an impulse buy! Can't retract once you drive it off, 3rd gen is the best and will continue to be the best! 3rd gen is much more sustainable! Great review bro!
