I was only interested in the little black wheels part, which saved me tons of time. About 3 months ago My wife soaked the scrubber head in a sink full of bleachy water, destroying the motor that's located in the cleaning head. Once that arrived (with the wires already soldered to the motor terminals) it took me about an hour to put it all back together. I like your videos because they are not filled with a bunch of "Ummmmmms" and "uhhhhhhhsss"

Oh my goodness, this is the best, easiest to follow video I've found on how to clean my Dyson DC41. I've had it for years and it's a great vacuum, but I didn't think I could ever clean it all the way. So here's what I'm wondering: If someone is a little older who arthritis in their hands and fears not being able to completely take everything apart, especially when you get to the spring. Is there a way to clean it without taking it apart completely? I live in the desert, so if I do it within the next few months, everything will dry, thoroughly. It's arid and about 110 degrees here. I feel I could take it apart okay, but getting it back together might be a bit much for these old hands. What's your opinion please?
@richardsvacuumcenter2 күн бұрын
I don’t recommend getting it wet if you don’t plan on taking it completely apart. Otherwise you don’t get all the dirt out and it smells worse as the moisture inside dries.

Who’s the a-hole that made it this much to get to the wheel as much as hair is an issue with vacuums?

Is this a known issue with the SV15 clip in battery V11? I’m attempting to diagnose my issue. TIA!

I didn't know that!!! They also come with a mounting bracket to screw to the wall to hang the whole unit in the same manner.

This is a great video. However I’m still having a few issues. My belts appear fine but the machine makes a very loud noise and smells like something is burning??? Could it be I need to replace the belts?

Thanks for another well done instructional video. I remember one in the past where you mentioned taping up a damaged cyclone gasket. I would have liked to actually see how you did that, maybe in a future video? Thanks again, cheers.

Great video. Used this to switch my change over and the plastic linkage. Work as it should almost. When I go from hose to floor the change over moves but not quite all the way. I have to reach down push it the rest of the way to get suction. Any ideas?

Exhaust filter - many thanks, successfully replaced the hose. Couldn't have done it without this video. My small screws took a T7 and not a T8, but I bought a set of cheap torx so it may be them that is the problem and not your instructions!

The black gasket on the clear cover was already loose when I took it apart, but now I can NOT get it back on there. More than half of it is hanging and is very stretched out and will not stay in place now. What do I do now or any tips to get it to seal back in place?
@richardsvacuumcenter9 күн бұрын
You can use a drop of super glue to keep it in place and just trim the excess off

Thank you for this. And you're awesome do doing it. It's strange, when I put everything back together. I suddenly had 2 extra screws. I keep trying to figure out where they came from.. But now there is no / very low suction when I put the head back on. I double check everything carefully. When the head is off, big suction power in both positions. When the head is on, there's barely any suction coming from the main head. I blow vape around it to see if there's a leak, but nothing. Any suggestions?

Check the head for clogs. Also check the other hose that leads down to the head for clogs

Thank you. If I hadn't watched your video, I would have had to buy a new dyson as I would have destroyed the one I was trying to repair. 😅

Great video. A lot of help. The screw with the funny plastic washer is a bit more accessible if you adjust the hose to the other position.
@solitarygamer709411 күн бұрын
Follows this tutorial exactly and (given having the right torque driver) had the repair done in about 20 minutes. $27 later and the D11 runs like new!

I've always found it so difficult to "pop this nozzle off" (about the 48 second mark). My hands don't seem to be strong enough. As a consequence, I don't clean the thing nearly as often as I ought to. Any suggestions?

Dude at five minutes 30 of your video , that pop-up section does not work on certain v 11s I think Dyson started to heat seem it in. You might wanna redo the video or at least update this video with some comments.

I have not come across this and I continue to take them apart to this day. I’ve probably taken 30-40 apart. Are you certain of this?
