After diagnostic was finished it went back to 0:00 just as you said. If this happens does this mean nothing going on with the machine? I am having a problem with the washer. When the clothes are finished some of them have a stain like marks on them that appears to be lint. Is there a way to clean a lint trap?

So I watched the whole thing but don’t know exactly how going into diagnostics mode helped. Note I bought mine 2nd hand and got no manual so maybe it was what told me why diagnostic mode was helpful. I never saw any diagnosis in the video. Thank you Appliance Flipper!

Can take it all huh..? Anybody ever tell you that your a real life version of cleveland? Kinda.. lol. Sorry.. keep doing you dude.. wish i could figure out how to get into the business of appliance repair and reselling.. cant get any client base. But thats my dream i guess., that or an independent contractor remodeling bathrooms and kitchens myself.. cant build any client base.. i only got 4 or 5 people who have asked for big jobs and never get any calls back from them cus nothing ever breaks.. and guess their friends and family dont ever need anything done or they just dont tell em.. all of em were happy because i charged half of what any other company would have and kept all the detail in it.. dunno.. guess im just not lucky enough to get what i want.. never have.. good to see others doing it though..

I have a 35 year old Kenmore that I recently changed the belt on for the first time. If it helps anyone instead of clips on the bottom of the front panel there were 5/16" screws just like on the top of the front panel but they are on the outside of the cabinet. You do not need, or want to remove those screws, just loosen them so that you can pull the panel upwards after removing the top screws. Also, for the life of me I don't know why but there are two different belts for these dryers, one is for a 27" wide model and one is for a 29" wide model. The belt for the 27 inch has the exact same dimensions as the 29 inch belt and also the same number of ribs but it costs quite a bit more. I've asked around why this is but no one seems to know the answer, not even a manufacturer I asked that sells replacement belts. Same exact belt dimensions, different part number, different price.

thank you. this so far has made my washer dryer combo start working again. even though my particular unit has the normal position to the 8 oclock side of dial i followed your instructions like it was at top/12 olcock. i did the turns of dial and was able to get it to reset and calibrate. i had replaced the lid lock a while back and was worried the lid lock had failed again. this unit is VERY VERY hard to replace the lid lock. an experienced appliance repairman had a very difficult time replacing this one. model wetlv27hw1. i will not buy another whirlpool product like this. i will also try and ask repair man if he can approve of new purchase model and ease of repair. nothing made like a 1970s unit. no computers needed. i want a non computer non water saving dial switch machine. thanks for your video.
