Reaper Bones (not Bones USA, but original Bones and Bones Black) are PVC-based and have issues going tacky with aerosol sprays. They say that it's a chemical reaction between something in the propellant and the PVC. It will not stop no matter how much it is covered, though some have said leaving it in baking soda has neutralized it. I have some Bones figures sprayed over 5 years ago that are still tacky. Reaper does not recommend the use of any rattle can on their PVC-based Bones figures, even if people have anecdotally had success (the propellant chemicals likely dissipated enough prior to hitting the model). Since those pieces are flexible, I'd hazard a reasonable guess that a similar thing happened here. They probably have PVC in those pieces.

Issues with primer making plastic sticky is very common with softer plastics! Reaper Bones are well known for having this issue, so I always use brush-on primer. Some people claim it's the propellant in spray cans, but I'm not sure.

It is a chemical reaction between the propellant and the PVC that Reaper uses in their original Bones and Bones Black lines.

42:00 I thnk that all this "reroll 1" rules is precisely because GW refuses to switch from D6 system to D8 or D12 or any other dice that has more granularity in the results. So they crowbar this into the D6 system using rerolls.

40k was actually fun during 3rd edition to me. Most of the units didn't have any special rules - just statlines and equipment. Even most weapons didn't have any special rules. There were very few re-rolls so when they happen it felt powerfull. Most models had 1 wound so every failed save mattered.

Hi Brent! Thank you very much for the very interesting work! I noticed that by adding a titanium white acrylic pigment to a 3D printing resin, the aluminum build plate becomes dirty black and obviously dirty the resin. Can you tell me something about it? The resin I used is Super PP from 3d Materials. Thanks in advance for the help!

Thank you so much for this video! You'd think I would have learned this at art school! One thing though, wouldn't a jug or in American English a kettle be better for boiling water? If you like to drink hot drinks like tea, coffee or hot chocolate I'd recommend getting one. I can't think of a single modern household that wouldn't have one. Then I discovered America and their tutorials on how to brew English tea. It's akin to not owning a toaster! I know the microwave works and it's newer tech than a kettle, but for some reason the idea of using a microwave as a tool for boiling water is like taking a baseball bat and using it to hammer in a nail. I can't stop thinking about it, it's like not having a toaster for toasting bread. It keeps me up every night the thought of a typical everyday modern esthetically pleasing home might lack this one thing. I often wonder: are microwaves cheaper than electric kettles? Has capitalism gone too far? Does the Whitehouse even have a kettle!?

@@GoobertownHobbies I agree that you were extremely clear in the intro that this video was related to an American event from the POV of an American. America is a major cultural exporter, unfortunately their problems get heard about worldwide. However I don't think my opinion is wrong or necessarily harmful so I would think it was still okay to express it.

What gives epoxies their characteristic smell, which to me is a bit fishy? Is that the amines in the activator? Does that mean that the activator is volatile enough that some of it is vapor (so that I can smell it) or is there decomposition of the activator that frees off some of the amines?
