I had this for 2 years after a traumatic event (soul loss, disassociation/PTSD/BPD) and I have now healed it, it is possible to heal! What I had to do was speak to myself (my soul) and fully admit the bad things that I did/that happened to me, which hurt/traumatized me (as bad as it hurt to admit) and truly apologize to my soul that it happened to me/ that I hurt myself in that way, and that I would protect and care and love myself from now on. You have to speak to your soul like another person who you owe an apology and acknowledgment for wrongdoing, wholeheartedly mean it. Once I did this, the emptiness went away and I felt a wholeness inside of me again (like literally my soul returned), I no longer have a short fuse and snap in rage, I don’t alienate myself anymore, my eyes don’t look empty anymore, I feel my innocence/kindness again, I regained my ability to cry! Slowly but surely admitting, acknowledging, and apologizing to your soul will call it back again piece by piece! Good luck 🌟
