I have a couple questions - 1) If you're reading/researching using books, do you stop after each session (after you've read a couple chapters) and gather highlights or write your summaries and gather quotes? I tend to use books for my research vs. internet articles (unless the articles are from excellent sources and have unique/essential info), but I get overwhelmed by excitement and voracity in my reading and end up with too much valuable info to synthesize all at once. 2) Do you focus on one post at time - or do you gather research for multiple, often related topics all at once? I have a hard time finishing things because become fascinated by related topics. Some days, I will start off working on a big, core content piece but I end up with 4 new 1000 word drafts of related content. Then I get overwhelmed and go back to just reading instead of editing these things. THANKS!!!!!

It sounds so hollow and listening to all the before and after on internal dampener it sounds like a marketing gimmick.
@ok2full
@ok2full 3 жыл бұрын
i really feel like listening to them on videos compared to when you are actually typing is so much different.. when i first heard halo true's on video they sounded kinda crappy but once i installed them and lubed em up and used a good set of key caps they sounded 100x better than any video ive seen. i ordered my kara without if any extras if anything i can just add foam later on so i dont pay 90 dollars for a chunk of metal or a piece of silicone that doesnt change the acoustics much at all just about the only decent deal they have is the kara starter kit with the creams and durok stabs

Yes. Makes the acoustic more clean and reduces hollowness.

you can simply just add a layer of foam you can buy at any hardware/home improvement store to get the same results without spending close to a hundred dollars

For the setup at 2:15, are you using a silent switch on the space bar?
@DarrenRowse
@DarrenRowse 3 жыл бұрын
no - all the boards keep the same switches for the whole video - SOYA at that point has tangerines on all switches including spacebar.
@shainbrown7173

no - you need to get them, switches and keycaps yourself.

The case seems a bit thicc and angled upwards compared to other 60-65% cases. Would you say the feel of the height/angle is different from other similar boards like the NK65?

you can flash your keyboard to setup any map you want you aren't restricted to the default layout. i own a couple boards with the HHKB layout and honestly once you get used to layering/remapping layering is basically adding the function key followed by pressing another key to activate whatever you want aka function+left alt = window key etc. if you dont like the position of control you can move it down towards the space bar and add caps lock there or whatever tickles your pickle

Highly suggest getting used to mapping mods to the home row with the mod/layer key easy access to thumb not used for spacebsr, that and/or using modtap home row keys. The former alone changed my life. Never really use my actual cmd/ctrl/alt/shift keys anymore, just use those that are mapped to home row 95% of time

Well done Darren!, Funny how I didn't find this until today. For those (like me) who are just thinking about getting started doing this type of thing, I can suggest trying a free software named OBS Studio, available for Mac, Windows, and Linux. It might be a little tricky to set up at first, but there are tons of how to videos out there on KZfaq. The software does a lot of stuff, and is widely supported.

Hi! I’ve got a skincare/nutrition-related site with a twist, about eight months old, just 25 posts but I’m trying to get up to 50 within the next few months with some outside writing help. I haven’t found that outside Help actually works yet though because I end up rewriting everything. Anyway what I would like at this point is someone to look over my site, tell me what I’m doing right and tell me what I’m doing wrong… And just give me some overall guidance to bring in traffic! I have just about 2300 page views right now but practically zero subscribers… I’m on Pinterest, I’ve done the Yoast SEO... I need to know what else to do, etc. Do you have any recommendations for how to find someone who could help me like this? I’ve tried ads on Upwork but so far i haven’t found what I need. Thanks!

What about using your name for your blog? You don't have to worry about someone's trademark. What are your thoughts on not showing your face or picture as a blogger? What are your thoughts on new bloggers monetize w/their book, affiliated, audio blog? With all that's going on we gotta make money.
