There are a few shows that had way too short of a run. This was by far one of them more recently on that Sneaky Pete. For such garbage shows that remain on like the bachelor and Kardashians; It sucks that this one stopped after three seasons.

I watched one episode of this show, and that was enough for me. The characters are incredibly compelling, but they spend a minimum of 1/6 of the runtime up on a soapbox regurgitating MSNBC talking points like they're uncomfortable truths, and then the show pats itself on the back for how brave it is for putting forward trite leftist points. And that's really irritating to everyone except people they already agree with.

So fun fact cause I just noticed his handle on the troll forum “BlueJewel”. His first name is ‘Neel’. That means ‘Blue’ in Hindi and Sanskrit. His last name is “Sampat’. The word “Sampatti” means wealth in Hindi. And jewelry is included as a part of wealth in that word. Hence Neil Sampat = Blue+Jewel.
@s___r4531Ай бұрын
Neal is actually short for Neelamani which, as you said, literally translates to Blue (Neela) Gem/Jewel (Mani), used as the term for Sapphire in Sanskrit (Will mentions this in an earlier episode). Neelamani is also another name for Krishna (the Hindu deity) who is usually shown to have blue skin.🙂

It's amazing to see bias at work sometimes. Talk about the repeal of Glass-Steagall, and manage to take a jab at Reagan, who has been out of office for 10 years already - but not mention the actual President who was, Clinton.

@ClaytonwFirth fair question . First it is always liberal slanted , but I could take that if there wasn't so much moral certainty in the characters. He write' s in an elitist manner with very patronizing tone to the characters with an opposing view point . Never cared for it

So much ignorance in this... The glass-steagall was NOT responsible for growth the US experienced and implying it was is ridiculous. Correlation is not causality. In fact in some ways it inhibited US growth. Deregulation didnt start with Reagan. Carter deregulated quite a bit including the market stifling regulations on air lines which lowered prices dramatically and lead to average Americans being able to much more easily partake in air travel.

Bill Clinton was a neo-lib. Really the first one. And Bush Jr. was the first neo-con. Everybody knows that. And by the time we get to Biden the “middle-class” is no longer a concern of democrats, who are no longer liberals. Cilvil and individual liberties? Pfffft! Lol
