I _knew_ I recognized the Cinema Therapy guy. I saw this yesterday and it finally hit me today that's who it was. Awesome. Good stuff! :)

I would remove the CGI and lights from the eyes, it would make things more threatening. Looks too cartoony, and it's probably a lot of work to add those effects. But, I really liked it.

I see the director was inspired from the movie Bird Box.

Of course you should never look at the moon. The moon is made of cheese. We get cheese from the moon. There are high fat contents in some cheese and that is bad for the heart and could cause health problems. So, looking at the moon as something to eat is bad for you. Never look at the moon with wanton eyes.

Like said before this definitely has some Local58 energy to it but my first thoughts went to Goosebumps and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. This has a simple premise done well and a fun amount of cheesiness, it goes a very very long way.

I had a nightmare when I was really young that I was in my room in the dark, and my blinds were open and I could see the full moon, and the moon was moving closer and closer to the window and a really weird way until it crashed through my window. It scared me, and since then, I've still felt odd when I'm in a dark room, and I can see the light from the full moon coming through the window. This taps into not only a primal fear, but my own personal discomfort from a silly childhood dream. Well done! Very cool idea, very simple, yet effective. Well acted and filmed! I watch a lot of these short films and this was honestly one of my favorites!

This film was really really well done but the reveal of Rod’s Moonstruck eyes made me laugh. I don’t know whether it’s his expression or the way his eyes glow like that but it was far funnier than it should have been

Ok I’ll be honest. Normally glowing eyes in horror don’t phase me anymore but the shot of Ron’s glowing blue eyes legitimately creeped me out. Like he just looks so manic and unworldly

Not sure why this popped up on my feed, but as a horror fan, I watched it anyways. It could be an interesting concept, but I didn't feel scared or creeped out by it. I was hoping there would be something more to the aliens or entities or what the moon looked like or whatever, but it mostly comes off as a low-level "Bird Box". It feels very much like someone's final project in film school or something. It isn't the length; I've been creeped out by shorts before, and some have told excellent tales. But as soon as I saw the effect on the dude's eyes, I had a hard time not giggling. I think some kind of practical effect would have been better: Tentacles coming out of his eyes or something. But the glowing effect, at least at first, kind of stole the tension from the moment. Anyroad, I'm probably being too critical of a short that's over a year old, but then again, I see it won some awards, which I find....odd? I dunno. Just didn't do it for me.

Crawling backwards on all fours is the single worst way to escape someone who is trying to attack you. You might as well put yourself in the fetal position and wrap yourself up in a bow for your attacker. Also her partner was just dangerous and yet she acts concerned after knocking him down? RUUUUN!
