I started adding adding oil to my gas tank. You have to clean the power valves more but you can put over 4k on the engine with no issues.

Terrible video. I wanted to see how they can propel themselves over snow or water. Most of us know there is an engine and some transmission type ffs. Why don’t you just explain cars also, 4 wheels,a cabin, an engine and transmission, and it drives on land… 🙄

Do you know anything about the pressure ratios, Ie. Exhaust to intake pressure, this monster runs at? Hard to find anything about that.

My vibration started when I had Walmart put two new tires on the truck because I couldn't afford to buy 4 new tires on. Its been vibrating ever since and just like you, i can see the tailgate vibrating like crazy. Now that its been almost a year, im going to buy 4 brand new (better quality) tires from the dealership and see if that helps. Beware of the dreaded four-wheel drive actuator issues that eventually happen. The bladder on the 4WD actuator starts loosing vacuum and it starts grinding like crazy. What a headache that was. 🫣 Awesome video and thank you. 🤘🤘

If you still have this and are looking into upgrading your turbo, consider Garrett's "new" G series. A G30 should have the same size hot side as this, and you shouldn't need more than a G30-660 given that you're under 500hp. Alternatively, look into Borg Warner EFR equivalents to the G series. Those are even better-designed turbos, particularly in terms of having robust bearing packages. If you really want to eliminate lag, look into a Borg EFR equivalent to the G25-550 or so.

Old boss back in 90s in Southern AB built same, but sandcast a monoblock as I recall. Welded cranks. Pavement dragster. Remember one of our wrenches/mechanics from shop ran it at Race City? and couldn't pull a wrench for a week because his fingers wouldn't unclaw and move after the weekend. I'd just started with them at that time. But I'm sure that's what was run then. Dave French, A and E Racing, Clayton, Betty, Troy. Jacques, Al.

Back in the day there were multiple versions like that built . So there are more than 3 . I’m a Canadian . My ex boss had one exactly like that 1340cc . When unlimited open drag class was avail . When ISR . Limited motors to 1000cc . Plus 10 percent overbore . You could build a 1050 . 2 snow pro 440 making a 880 was popular. I no drove one . Competitive for a guy . The larger engine mods are actually not that wild a ride . Yes there fast . But can only put so much power to the track especially early in a race . And there mandated to be heavier. A small bore . Light mod like a 500 or a 600 turning more rpm at the starting line in a lighter frame is actually more of a handful to drive . The big ones are like a super fast couch 🛋.

You'd think if they were manufactured this poorly, they'd be pretty affordable. But no, quite the opposite. They're more expensive and lower quality than ever before.

Great vid. I have 2010 snow pro 500 with same clutch. Wide open I am only getting 7400rpm and use to get 7800-7900 rpm. Motor seems strong and not bogging or hesitating at wide open or at anytime. Sled still rips 0-60 mph. Any ides what in clutch would cause this problem. Sled has 3000 miles on it all stock.

Hey my friend great video my problem is with my 1992 arctic cat wildcat, it has the black magic pipes, it runs amazing in -20 but the minute the weather warms up and it’s only -3 snowmobile is Boggie and doesn’t have enough power to take off. Do I have to take the carburetter apart to put a different jet in or do I just adjust the setscrew
