For transport from Incheon to Mapo we used the KAL Limo Bus 6702 (there is another operator in the reverse direction as well) - They were happy to take the Tandem bike box we had. We also discovered that this is not universal on our second trip, so you need to check the bus company's policies. BTW the best video I have seen regarding this path - well done! Nice balance of commentary and video!

Hey, random question as I figured you'd be the best to ask, is there a kind of word or thing to ask at a bike shop here that is the equivalent of a "tune up" in Korean? Just a way to ask them to take a look at the bike and spruce up/clean/fix whatever they find with it? I've gone and asked for specific things before but never to just have them fix up my whole bike.

No wonder you needed the extra week. 👍 I love how you get a feel for each area and that you included alternatives. Shopping isn’t my thing either. 😊 So happy this video is getting some traction. Thanks so much for watching and for all the kind words @BasicStealthcamping! Busan video will still be a while because I won't be around there anytime soon, but if it's your first time in Busan I'd definitely spend most of your time around Gwangalli and Haeundae relaxing. They are both filled with tourists, but it's kind of a relaxed/party vibe with a lot of good food/drinks around. If you want a more quiet beach then go to Songjeong Beach instead, and consider hiking Jangsan Mountain for a really nice view of Busan on a clear day!

FYI, Kyoung bok Gung > Gung = palace. // Buk Chon > chon = village // Cheonge cheon > Cheon = stream // Chogesa > sa = temple .... every korean understands the name you said~ It is acceptable ~
@lostthenfound5 күн бұрын
@JeonNick I speak Korean so it sounds weird to say 경복궁 Palace or 인왕산 Mountain, but that's how the names are officially translated into English for some reason instead of "Gyeongbok Palace" or "Mt. Inwang / Inwang Mountain." I say it the official English way to make it easier for tourists to find and understand the places.

Thanks for this. I'll be sure to consider your suggestions as I make my itinerary for Seoul this October. As a first-timer in Seoul, I would want to visit Nami Island (and maybe a side-trip to the Alpaca Park) as well because they say it's an excellent spot for autumn foliage. Which date in your itinerary should I cancel in favor of Nami Island? Will also be in Seoul for 7 days.
@lostthenfound5 күн бұрын
Thanks so much for watching @AmicusCuriae-mw2tw! Nami Island is worth a visit in the Fall for sure, and I would personally cancel day #5 (Gangnam) if it was my choice. Gangnam is really popular, but it doesn't offer anything especially unique besides the fact that it's the most luxurious area in Seoul.
