How the heck is that even legal? A 75 cc machine needs to meet the same regulations as a Yamaha 125 (not least because, if legal, it could be taken on the motorway).

Man ryobi sucks, that's why your bike has no power. Use a stihl fs250 engine and that thing will fly. I just saw an fs250 on offerup for $200 the other day. I have a husqvarna 3120xp chainsaw engine here, 120cc 9.2hp and I know this thing would fly on a bike.

There is a third way for the final drive, a belt drive. i did it without a clutch first with a underpowerd suffolk lawnmower engine. Later on i used the engine of my old pocketbike that one had a clutch but i still used the belt drive cause it was on There anyway so why not. Now im going back to the old way without clutch. But a belt drive is easy to take off, easy for riding without the engine or if the Police shows up :)

An easy way to find ratio is to put the valve stem at the top and mark the clotch drum with tape. Then turn drum and count how many turns it takes to bring the valve stem back to the top. THIS IS A REAL-WORLD WAY TO CORRECT FOR THE FACT THAT THE TIRE HAS A MUCH 'LENGTHIER'CIRCUMFRENCE THAN THE CIRC.OF THEREAR SPROCKET. 10 to 1 is Ideal.

Nice video. I would suggest a larger Centrifugal clutch, if it can fit between the bracketry. Too much load for that one. Nice bike and Cheers!

well twostroke "powerband" is pretty broad without the expansion chamber (power band fatty pipe aka bladder) its like a 4 stroke only it has 2x horsepower at equal displacement, i have a bike just like that only with a honda 190cc hydrolic pump motor with a belt drive and manual clutch, i can go 45 miles an hour, thats not T bag at all, trust me it feels like 75 on a piece of trash like that

Nice build...higher primary ratio will get the engine into its power range sooner. you'll lose speed but more drivable...you have some good ideas. I think I'll use a few on my next build.
