I got a cyst removal when I was 15. Awful . Pain since I got my period my doctor said it was just ovarian cyst completely normal. It kept getting bigger. Got my first surgery. She drain the cyst really didn’t give me much information and then lived my life from there now 24 years old second surgery cause I was in unbearable pain and found out that I have severe endometriosis removed mostly all of my ovary and my fallopian tube, just trying to learn to live in manage

I had my diagnostic lap yesterday and started BAWLING when I was told they found lots of endometriosis

I have stage 4 endo with bowel and uterus adhered together. All of scans were clear, ultrasound and MRI even though it has deeply infiltrated my bowels. Thanks for the video xx

Thank you for this video, it's really informative. I've been dealing with excruciating period pain since I was 16, I take the maximum amount of painkillers all week and even then I am clock watching until the next dose. Went to my doctors and they said I should take even more painkillers and that because I've 'dealt' with it since I was 16 I should be fine to manage it. Feel like I am just covering up the problem. I'm definitely going to look into the coil. If you had the pain 7 days a month would you say fighting for the diagnosis and the surgery was worth it?

Have you tried Zoladex injections? I’ve heard mixed opinions on them but they were a godsend for me

Zoladex has so many side effects it only helped me for few months

I had a hysterectomy in September of 2023 with a unilateral oophorectomy and my endo came back in January. I’m having my second endo surgery in two weeks with possibility of medical menopause 😞 it’s an emotional journey

Ami, your videos have helped me so much. 2 weeks post surgery and your over planning is definitely my vibe so helped massively. I'm sure you will add these but the beyou patches, buscapan mint and mint capsules helped me. I also got small bottles of sparkling water so it was really fizzy constantly and helped me with my gas pain. I changed my bedding the day before surgery as well so you come home to a fresh bed. I also got myself a grabber stick so I could reach for drinks on my own and if I dropped anything and no one was around. I got plastic ear piercings but when I got to hospital they just taped them up so maybe check before you go to the hassle! Menopause will greatly reduce symptoms even if it is on bowels or other areas. Without the cyclical surge of estrogen every month, the body will stop producing endometrium so it stops spreading to other areas. The endometrium deposits already on other areas/organs tends to shrink. The pain after menopause is often the result of the scarring which was left from the endo when it was active, pre menopause.

I cannot speak for her but it took me 6 weeks. My dr said 2 weeks but my surgery was extensive and I have stage 5. 6 months to feeling completely normal

I'm Canadian, been fighting for over 10 years. I can not find the help. I was diagnosed however, everyone has thrown their hands up at me and said "there is nothing more I can do" . Husband and I are willing to travel. Any advice? Please. Tia.

In Malaysia, we have a Women and Children's hospital. I just got diagnosed with Adenomyosis, Endo and Fibroid. Will go for a surgery in June. We do have some experts here that might be able to help you if you are willing to travel to the other side of the continent ;)

Thank you for posting these! We need more advocate’s! I have had a long journey with endo myself, I decided to have a complete hysterectomy at age 34 after being diagnosed with endo and pelvic congestion syndrome, I am 38 now, I am still having issues, horrible left side pelvic pain and now bowel issues 😔, I had lap surgery 2 weeks ago and a CT scan and they said they can’t find anything 😢 I get every word you said in this video makes me cry , hearing it reminds me of myself. Hang in there girl!!

@@ammrro yeah unfortunately it’s not a cure because the way endo can grow anywhere and microscopic endo can’t be seen 😞

Your symptoms are the same as what my cousin goes through! when she gets her period she almost gets into a seizure she's shaking she can't stand she can't breathe well and she's in a lot of pain. What worked for her was a very strong pain killer. I get what you went through cuz I've seen my cousin and it's horrible! I hope you're doing better now.

it’s crazy to me that the rental market in and around london/down south has become so similar to the buying market with offers and asking prices etc! i’m currently in the process of moving and it is not like that at all up north, but it is v competitive still. So happy you found somewhere!!

So proud of you ❤️I’m still waiting to see the gyno so feel pain relief like this is so far down the line for me , so sick of doctors prescribing naproxen that just doesn’t work 😅 thanks for making this video, so helpful to know there’s more options out there 💓

I’m exactly the same as you with my anxiety. I constantly look for reassurance, even if it’s stupid things or things that they have no idea about I just need someone to guide me or tell me I’m going to be okay lol xx
