Man it’s the hose, not the pcv unit itself. The hose can only be purchased with the stock inlet pipe. 034 has a video on that

We tested the hose. Maybe you didn’t watch the whole video, but I showed 034’s video in this. We did the hose valve test.

Is there any way you are getting a leak from your connections to your intercooler? would a poor or loosened hose clamp cause a drop in boost? I know when I put my intercooler in I went out and got even heavier duty hose clamps and ran two on each side as I had the room and I figured I just wont eat that day for the weght reduction. Also with the interrcooler tucked right up against the grill if under boost it was the intercooler either a really small crack in a fin or a leak on that hose you might not even see the smoke as ambient air may make it dissipate if a minor leak. Maybe the charge pipes not tight to the throttlebody? Im not sure. I just know you from the group and are trying to brain storm ideas because I like your channel and you are always cool with people in the 034 group and hope you can get it completely sorted quickly. I bet even if your PCV valve was still good that the tighter fitting billet cap helps . Anyways, hope you get to the bottom of the mystery!.

Thanks man! I appreciate the brainstorming. I'm pulling off the bumper and grill tomorrow to do all the chrome delete stuff so I'm going to look at the charge pipes and intercooler closely to see if notice anything obvious. The good news is I'm not getting any low boost codes, so I should be fine for now.

Did you check the charge pipe connection on the intercooler? When I changed my intercooler out, I got a similar whistle once I tightened it down. It went away.

I have a 2019 A7 and I replaced my PCV valve alone 3 weeks ago and I can swear up and down that it's made a huge difference in my acceleration. Especially my boost. It fills up easier, and also fills up slightly during each gear change until 4 or 5th gear I think.

The G2 Brake Caliper Paint System works better on unpainted calipers. Looked great on my old A4 and I had plenty of paint left. Maybe a darker color would have covered the black OEM better?

That’s really up to you. I would do it. I don’t think the tune is risky AS LONG as you’re properly maintaining the vehicle.

It is supposed to be an all in one kit. No need for primer. I think it's really best for metal calipers without paint. My calipers already had glossy lacquer on them so this probably wasn't the best choice. But hey, it was worth the experiment. And I think it actually looks really good from standing next to the car.

I also put on 4 coats and it still didn't cover completely . Expensive small can of paint! I received a full refund from G2 after 2 emails to them complaining that their product didn't work as advertised.

@@midlifemods I just left it with the 4 coats on. From 10 ft away it looks decent, up close it look so-so. You can see areas where it is not fully covered. For $70 I expected a better result. After telling me that I must have done something wrong, G2 finally agreed to give me a refund and would look into the product.

I’m sure he did it right. I tracked the car on Laguna Seca after this and the brakes did great. They’re still doing great actually.

This is stage 1 ECU on E85 fuel with stage 2 TCU. I also have a Wagner intercooler and 034 air intake and turbo inlet. And a bunch of other mods. You can see all my mod videos on my channel page.

@@edibladechump617it depends on who your tuned with. With my 034 Motorsport tune, I have to drain the existing fuel or let it run empty, then flash the tune again to map over to the new fuel and then fill up with the new fuel.

Just an FYI. I got the flow formed wheels which are slightly smaller than the stock RS5 wheels. IF you want this style wheel for your RS5 and want to keep the same wheel size (20"), you would have to get the Forged wheels which are stronger, but more expensive AND they only come in two colors (bronze not available with forged.)

I just bought a 2019 A4 and am already thinking about tuning it with a Stage 1 upgrade. I like the car as is so I'm afraid if I tune it, I"m just going to go down a rabbit hole and keep adding Stages!

I had a 2020 A4 and thought about tuning it. Then I drove the S4 and realized how much more power I could get from tuning. That was it for me. I had to have the V6. Whatever you decide, enjoy it! 😎

I’ve seen a lot of that “high temp” caliper paint like that boil and chip off on the track. So just beware of that and proper prep. Or taking it to a professional but that makes it far more expensive. Awesome video tho. I need these wheels, they’ve been on my radar forever

If this is a 2022 S4, I am under the assumption that you only installed the ECU tune due to the locked TCU? Can you elaborate on what the difference may be in terms of performance? I inquired about a mod only for the auto-off button 🤣

This is an early 2022. Late 2021 production. ECU was/is not locked. I’m stage 1 E85 now which you can see in subsequent videos. I’ve added an intercooler, intake and turbo inlet. I’m hovering around 500hp at the crank now.

I see, you got it just in time. Thanks for fast response. I am thinking of getting 91 stage 1 with my s4 bone stock but my TCU is locked so i am hesitant. The 034 is still recommending i get it for the ECU related performance (why wouldn’t they?). I can not find anyone with a 2022 S4 with the Locked TCU that still tuned THE ECU and is using the Patch. Quality videos and your humor integration is on point.

That may have solidified the decision for me. I worry for the warranty aspect that in a sense it voids warranty. Have you had any warranty scares or have you taken your car to the dealer flashed being you’re most likely still under warranty since its a 22? My dealer guy said just flash back before i bring it in lol

I have taken it to the dealership for several basic maintenance issues. The risk really depends on the issues. Some issues can be resolved with basic inspection. Others require plugging the ecu into Audi’s diagnostic computer. Well that computer can send data to Audi corporate and flag your car if it’s tuned. So you just need to tell your dealership service center not to plug it in to that without your permission. Because even if you flash it back back to stock, Audi may be able to see that it’s tuned. But yes. I’ve had it serviced under warranty without issue.
