As a proud American, I hope we don't have to use most of these weapons. As always we should have our ally's back and they should have ours.

I think they're MoD police, not metropolitan police? (might be wrong, often am.) Little boy didn't realise that he was playing up on what amounts to a military barracks, where different rules apply. He FAFO'd so hard, I did laugh.

Oh diddums was disrespected was she. How about the decades of abuse of British children by the invaders, the establishment doesn’t care about what matters. I do however agree this was a decent response, but the public are receiving serious abuse and the establishment couldn’t care less.

Can you imagine if Great Britain and the US had not "made up" after 1776 and we were still at war all these years later? America's largest military base (Fort Liberty AKA Bragg) in Fayetteville, North Carolina is named for French nobleman Marquis de Lafayette who very much hoped American would forever love France and hate the Brits. Seems he did not get his wish.

China is bigger in numbers, but that's about it. Same with India. Still no match for the quality/tech of the U.S. Also, as you may know, the U.S. military is all volunteer, as the others are "forced", or conscripts. You lose a LOT with 2 yr conscripts, who do not want to be there! The "average" for the U.S., in terms of service, range from 4 yrs to 12 years, with quite a lot going the full 20 yrs (like me/retired USAF).

They are all serviceable... Most of the fighters are from 60 to 90% combat ready. The F35's were around 50% but they started production before they built out the maintenance facilities. Once they have finished that readiness will get to the 80% like the rest. This isn't Russia, we don't count broken down garbage. If it's in service, it's combat ready or it's in maintenance scheduled to be combat ready once upgrades are complete. As in, we just spent a few hundred billion to redo, retest, refit our entire nuclear deterance. We have 450 F35's and currently 65% or ready for combat, but all of them will need to be retrofitted with the Block 3 upgrades. That will be 40 billion or so, and all 187 F22's are being upgraded to super Raptors while awaiting replacement with the new NGAD air superiority 6 gen fighters.and FA-XX Navy attack fighters each with autonomous drone wingman And of course the B-21 Raiders are already 6th generation fighter bombers with air to air missels already added onto the super stealth planes.

The biggest difference in SOF Selections is in The Unit, where you are alone. You don’t have buddies on your NAV course, you don’t know how far each checkpoint, you don’t know how fast you need to complete, and you don’t have any clue how many days it will last. Other selections with people can be a huge psychological motivator to keep you from quitting. Delta is your body vs your mind.

nothing can be enjoyed anymore. no matter the luxury, someone is going to flirt with the boundaries for media attention. When I was in Iraq 2005, a female soldier went on about boxing a Marine then got crushed. Here, this boy confronted so many until he was put in his place. Give people an inch and they will attempt to take a mile.

Coolest job in the world. Unfortunately, their is no UK equivalent and being a SAR diver in the RN is sideways entry as an aircrewman (which involves a lot of maths) after you have been promoted to KIllick (Corporal). The estimated time from joining to becoming a SAR Diver is therefore 12 years, and even then, you will probably do a rescue with your fins on once in a blue moon, if ever. After 7 years I gave up. Yes I am bitter.

How do you judge a power index? Russia fighting a war with Ukraine who is being supported by the whole of the Nato powers and still continues to fight after 2 years, and on the other hand how many years did US and allies tried their best in Afganistan for how many years and we all know what happened at the end. When Bharat's army fights, it creates a new country called Bangladesh. Food for thought😅

It's always a bit funny to hear a citizen from a disarmed populace call armaments designed to effectively overwhelm, "insane". Do they expect us to wear our bright team colors, stand facing each other, fire and hope for the best? I thought we taught them the folly of that. Show me a leader who wants to "play fair" and you show me a loser in war.
