@@H0GS16 That’s not how it works . The top end is the cylinder that is the bore that’s the size diameter of the piston. The crank is the bottom, and there is no bore in the crank. I’m not doing anything to the crankshaft in this video. The new cylinder is already boarded out to 70 mm for the new 70 mm piston.

I’ve learned her limits lol. The hard way lol. Ive had er swamped up to the seat. The intake appears to be up closer to the handlebars so it’ll go quite a ways but the big thing you gotta watch for is the airbox drain because water will enter the airbox drain and that is a lower point lower than the intake up by the handlebars. I had to flush the engine oil and pull the spark plug after water got in the intake, and I had to change the oil in both diffs. I went through a water crossing that I’ve gone through many times before, but the water level was higher in the spring time, by the time I realize how much deeper it was, I was already committed to just send it. The day that happened it was probably two or three times deeper than this.

For anyone that cares the rear shock spring on the ranchers or at least mine is insanely weak. If you plan on riding someone or working and hauling anything and don't want to be squatting or bottoming out i highly recommend getting the highlifter rear spring if not a whole new shock. The spring will require spring compressor. I got the 2024 and could stand behind mine and could push mine as low as my arms would allow with no effort whatsoever. The highlifter spring made all the difference in the world, that's how it should have come from factory it was ridiculous. Oh yeah im about 5'11" and 180lbs so im far from hulking and that wasn't why it just flew down when pushing it.

@johnnyreb1475
@johnnyreb1475 10 күн бұрын
@@613Builds it is but even on the highest setting it was ridiculously weak and hauling a trailer shouldn't be an issue unless rear independent suspension I was referring to solid rear axle and any load on the rear rack. I've seen a stock rancher with rear drop basket with a small child on the back and the rear fenders almost rubbing the tires with stock shock and spring. For a single rider with no extra weight on the back it's fine, and made for a softer ride but anymore than that it just doesn't cut it. I just put a strong made rear rack on and with any weight I can only imagine how low that thing would be riding. I checked a new one out on the show room floor after I got mine and I was bouncing that thing standing flat footed like it was a child's 50 fourwheeler. I just wanted to see if they were all like that. It was a 2024 also so I can't really speak for any other years but I'm pretty sure there's not much difference if any.

I got mine last year . I have just turned 3,700 klms. On the stock bike . I all ready have my 222cc BBK . Yesterday I ordered from Scooter Swap Shop the new stainless steel exhaust $269. US And I am following Dusty Steel great advice . Along with MishMashMoto . The last video from SSS . Show cases the XR150L as a much improved and capable , Bike with very little extra cash outlay . Compared to CRF250 or CRF300 costing thousands more . I also got the cheap Amazon windshield . I intend to build everything when I get all upgraded parts together first . Just south of Ottawa and under 100 feet elevation . I can consistently hit 100 klms stock if I tuck down with no headwinds .62 mph I have added a Led DZG headlight plug and play $30. "Be seen don't die" Looks more modern and I believe much safer Dual USB/VOLT METER Battery tender cable . Factory Honda tank bag . a little small but the dealer priced match . Thanks Honda . KimiMoto rear collapsible tail bag . 1 full grocery bag fits between the 2 bags awesome groceries getter . A coffee cup holder attached to the left rear luggage rack lower bar , (in front of the turn signal ) Any Tims leakage A (Canadian coffee shop) spill goes on the ground not all over the bike "bonus" . A must add is a magnetic oil plug . Because of no oil filter . Also new set of foot pegs and a tusk foldable shifter in red . Good luck to all and tell us your best mods .

@@barackmycat9448 well, the 222 cc big bore kit helped the torque tremendously. That was a major improvement noticeable in first gear, taking off all the way up to fifth gear. When it was stock original, it would hardly carry itself in fifth gear anywhere below 75 km/h, but now with the kit it can carry itself from 60 km/h even in fifth gear effortlessly with lower RPMs. I also added a windshield, and that was a major improvement as well.
