Did it works with your RHB?

Curious if anyone has got the steering wheel controls to work on non can bus vehicle with RBZ or RHB radios

De donde conectaste el auxiliar? Para saber si el arness que de mi carro no tiene ese cable

I’m sorry for late response I haven’t checked my channel in a few months. . What I did was I ordered the matching wire harness clips on Amazon that just clip in the appropriate slots in the harness

Me too. Wont work in my 2011 jku even tho the cables match up.. radio is from a 2010 grand Cherokee

@@keithonwright I have been researching this non stop since my first comment, I have bought every version of mygig radio that mopar used. it has been known that the mygigs got the time/clock info from the wcm/cnn via the canbus system. there is an updated firmware for the rer/ren mygigs that lets you manually input the time and it will not double check via canbus, so the time will display as normal. but since this firmware is only for the rer/ren, and those models will not power up without a canbus signal, it doesn't help us here with the rbz. but the rbz can be powered up like you have shown and everything except the clock will work just fine.

@@keithonwright do you know if your radio is a high speed or low speed canbus unit? and what car do you have it in?

@@keithonwright ok I just re watched your video, if you still have the 07 aspen, that is a low speed canbus vehicle and would need a low speed rbz radio to function 100% with the clock working. so I am guessing that the car that the radio came out of was a high speed canbus car?

there are 2 different canbus speeds for these radios a lowspeed bus or a highspeed bus, they cannot be interchanged and you cannot make them work without using something like a mygig lockpick. do not try to power the radio like is shown in this video, it will not work and could permanently damage the radio... unless you have a highspeed rbz mygig, I would not risk damaging the system.
