Yeah I know what you mean about cleaning up the shop it's a never ending task around here for sure and the maintenance I don't know if you watch any of my videos or not but I try to do my own stuff too but just the other day because of the heat here mostly the wife car needed an oil change and I decided to take to someone new to me and I always try to support the smaller shops when I can two and a half hours later I was on my way yeah 2019 Mazda oil change 100 bucks lighter and as I got out of the car in the garage I noticed a round tire sized dent in her rear door you know the circle pattern of a big tire "this place was also a tire shop" but since I don't drive her car my 2nd time only since new I wasn't sure if it had always been there or not guess what nope it was new what did the shop say when I called them ? We will review the cameras and get back to you
@Ruststored19 күн бұрын
Your shop is way cleaner than mine! Good luck with the camera review.

Try 2000 then 3000 grit to get it flat, then polish. But if the line persists it could be dark pigment staining - the heavy blues particularly drop to the bottom so when you flat it all back it leaves a wash mark as a darker stripe as you seem to have. Have you got a spot gun? They are really cheap any way lay a little fresh over the area leave it for a few weeks to harden, then flat it lightly with 2000 and 3000 and it will dissapear. Don’t stop painting mate, even the best get runs and they have to do the same, it’s why it costs so much! You have to fix it - it you are anything like me you will look at it each time you walk past and it will do you nut in! Nice wagon though I really like it1
@RuststoredАй бұрын
Thanks so much for the tips. I did pick up a sharp spot gun. I was going to use it for some small spots. Ill give it a try.👍

The 37 is cool old truck for sure, I’m not sure about drilling the carburetor butterflies to adjust AFR. Seems like the margin for error would be pretty big, maybe contact the carb manufacturer tech support and ask them what the recommended way to do that is, just some thoughts. 🫵🏼💯🆒
