As a cop of 20+ years and a jailer before that, I HATE Streamlight! Their earlier products were terrible and their new products haven’t gotten much better. There are so many better options these days. Streamlight is just a name that’s recognized. And so many department heads just go with a name. But they are total CRAP!!!

Your cell phone has a clock on it, but sure add a watch for extra weight. Notice he didn’t put this stuff on, because he would look like a tool who could barely move.

I know this is an old video, but here are my two cents after 22 years in the business. Shoes can be purchased with rubber soles. I'm a very big fan of the shoe brand Allen Edmunds, Oxford with Dainite Rubber Soles. you will spend a bit more on them, but I have shoes that are 10-15 years old.

Suggestion of gear recommended by secret service would be suspenders to hold up your pants because your gear gets heavy.

Two MAJOR NO NO’s to your setup: NO to the shoes…. CIA teaches laced shoes even dress shoes in the event you have to run. Slip on shoes can and will fall off. NO to your belt… Midway USA carries many concealed carry THICK leather belts that come in both casual and dress styles. That belt is FAR TOO THIN especially with all your heavy gear.

Alien Gear is unable to except mods too slides !! The Holster becomes a level one ! Just went through the whole system on this. Not secure for duty use in that configuration.

Thanks for this great video. I’m carrying these days the 27 and this holster is the best. Comfort, security, reliability, easy handling, it’s got it all. I don’t have a light mounted to this gun so this is the holster I’m going to stick with. Safariland makes fantastic products so why look elsewhere.

on the Alien Gear, the hang up is the elevated sights. The newer versions have accommodated for the elevayed sights.
