Reading some of the comments here: people seem to not know about the differences between fine art/ the academic approach and contemporary art. Fine art values the technical skill very much. And there is a big market for it. You just don’t hear about it much for some reason. Contemporary art focuses mostly on the emotional aspect of art. It’s more difficult to judge the quality of it, and there is also a lot of hyped up crap. But it has its justifications as well.

I can whip up some satanic shit and call it art lol. Her "art" is really disturbing and gives you an eerie feeling, otherworldly stuff and not in a good way. She fully embraced evil it seems.

An applouse to you for succeeding. It is not about liking it is about what does it mean and how it works and if you can relate to it. You’ve come so far. It is brave to stick to your art and do it. It is easy to go get a job and get paid for it even if it pays terrible. But to actually face the fact that you keep going on this path to be productive and successful and ignore people telling you that you’ll starve if you are an artist. That takes guts. That’s why my art can be amazingly good but no one gets to indulge it because it is hidden and unless I am brave enough to show it the world will continue on without it. So good for you. I do this naturally, I think it's reconnecting with that human life and experience. Nothing like crazy, and she's pretty intune with the idea of "reboot" it's a true use of the accomplishment if the word.
@demoncorejunior5 ай бұрын
this was a fun look at this "reboot" deck, thanks. i agree the face cream seems more like performance art than an earnest attempt to help with longevity, but i'm not surprised to see a glass going for £35 in a museum shop. everything at a museum shop is priced quite high to put money back into the museum, and i've happily "overpaid" for things in such places to support the museum

Maybe this is all part of a secret performance to show the absurdity of just how far "brand loyalty" in consumers can be pushed, even when the "brand" is doing something as ridiculous as selling a glass of water 😅 (I don't think this is true, but I can dream 😝)
