Cooking oil? you can use animal fat like lard or tallow etc to use as cooking oil. Also you can make your own soap from animal fat. Cooking oil is an industrial product it's not "natural"

I totally understand what you mean we need to look at what our needs are and not compete with somebody else, because you don’t know how those people got their money and be what their desires are! My grandmother always said don’t be envious of others for you don’t know what they did to get what they have! That’s not to say then it may not be expiring and hard-working people, it is just say that maybe you would Not be able to do that work or have their habits to achieve what they have.

I think where they got the money is from corruption and for example scamming people, this stop these country to ever reach western standard. my friend for example buy car in Europe for 600 dollars and sell for couple grand in Africa
