Thanks so mush for the video. Wondering if gallery series is thicker/more viscous than Emerald?

Yeah, my table saw sucks, because it's such a pain to pick it up, and turn it upside down to make a cut on a board I have laying on the floor.

I'd love to see you compare it to BM Command. AFAIK Gallery is like $143/gal list (plus the crosslinker if desired). That's a freaking lot for a 1k product. I guess people really like wb cleanup. I think Command is like $75-90/gal.

water CAN be applied for spray applictions but isnt necessary how come people add water to their paint they spray? I have yet to do it.

Aluminum profiles, anticorodal, and cans are not suitable for melting, better parts of engines or pumps, the metal flows more.

Yeah I've been a painter for 15 years...do about 7-10 cab jobs a years and usually only use emerald. I started a set of cabs on Monday and decided to use GS, noticed it was pretty thin. Too see you soup it up even more was pretty insane 😂 like woah.... then low and behold you had runs... Then your gun was spitting i think because you didnt clean it good enough last time idk.... As far as primer, i use pigmented shellac or If i were you. Maybe a sanding sealer.. That kilz primer is garbageee

I'm waiting for 3rd party (Chinese) counterfeits made of metal. Kreg needs to stop making cheap crap out of flimsy plastic if they want serious customers and not just home-DIYers. The 720 is over-engineered IMHO. I use and love an all metal knock-off pocket hole jig modeled after the K4 and mounted to a wide base that is clamped for bench-top use and it works great. I bought the 520 because I got sick of trying to fiddle with an old R3 when I need to drill holes in existing projects (tight/odd spaces), but gladly pay 3x for an all-metal version. Yes, sometimes you need to drill holes after a project is assembled.

Yeah the instructions are no good, I just put mine together with the same issue. Everything says “according to instructions” but the only assembly covered in instructions are the safety accessories..
@tristonlavendar3108Ай бұрын
Looks to me that the yellow part is a substitute for building a wood shroud to attach to the safety guard. It’s supposed to be adjustable so that your material can be slid under it. I’m assuming it would help with dust collection/ debris.

Newbie here…..used my gun to spray a custom cat litter box the wife wanted…I ended up with many small dry bits of paint spatter not a smooth surface. The wood was prepped and primed with several coats. Too much pressure?

Just used anchors aweigh (navy blue) emerald urethane on an exterior door and boy am I disappointed! The good; it sprayed nice right out of can but ended up thinning less than 5% for a better spray, leveled out great. The bad after letting dry for two days it scratches really easy and is difficult to clean. I wanted to wipe some dirt off dead bolt where my finger nail ever so slightly ran across door leaving a scratch. There were some handprints on door after install so wanted to clean so saturated a paper towel with water and it left smug marks where i lightly wiped. My normal advance go to would never do this and what a disappointment!

Always spray test your gun on paper or a piece of wood first and always use grain filler on raw wood then sand, then prime. wood filler is $8

But how would you set up the CNC to know how deep to go, where to cut, etc?

So you're rating something as "awful " ....clickbait... for your lack of planning and forethought. Not the tools' fault here.
@christopherchapman88932 ай бұрын
Cool video! Only thing I'd add is to sand them, then spray with warm water to let the grain rise back up and sand a second time. That helps to make sure that the grain doesn't pop back out (after) they are completed and used and/or washed. Cheers!
@christopherchapman88932 ай бұрын
*I should have mentioned that I would do this before putting finish/oil on them..... Cheers again!

About the same as Emerald. Hardly noticeable. It does smell distinctly different from emerald though.

According to a spec sheet i got from SW V.O.C. (less exempt solvents) 178/litre, 1.48 lbs. per gallon. I was told it had more than double the VOC than the Emerald Urethane.
