Its all Vision Line on the inside. It require a complete gut and conversion.

Even though these engines had pneumatic air ringers in their service lives the swinging bell effect is a nice touch.

Hey Bruk, these upgrades absolutely bring these locomotives to life. K-Line's K4's look fantastic but the electronics inside are lacking, something your upgrades remedy.

Yeah I can definitely tell a difference in everything with Legacy. I like both Whistles. But every other Sound sounds way better.

I think the TMCC Whistle sounds better than the Legacy Whistle. I'm about ready to buy one of these. We are big B&O fans. Cant get any bigger than this. You need to start doing videos again.

Ill return hopefully soon. I’m planning on building a layout possibly this summer. Also I agree with the whistle. But prototypically, the EM’s had a similar hooter whistle to the N&Ws

@@jebbthetrainkid1281it held up just fine. I sold it a few years ago. I have a LEGACY #659 from the first LEGACY reissue to replace it. Downside now, is you can’t get replacement parts for the TMCC stuff anymore.

@@jebbthetrainkid1281 I do prefer LEGACY over TMCC. But there are some TMCC gen sounds you can’t let go. But for the most part LEGACY is what is now. So id buy what you can repair. But if you can get a good deal on a TMCC version run it till it fails then have it converted over to LEGACY. That is an option too. Just be prepared to spend $600+ to have a TMCC engine swapped.

That’s awesome work, if you don’t mind me asking how much does a typical conversion run. I have some early MTH PS1 engines that don’t see run time anymore do to conventional control.
