Took an adjustment period, but I paint cars 100 percent with the turbine now. Got it figured out and am very happy with the system.

I put mine together, but it seems like there’s something wrong with the ignition switch - there’s no button - it’s just a cap that screws on. Any ideas?

I’ve heard great things about those sprayers. Based on how wonderful your kitchen turned out, I would say these are definitely the ones to go with.

I have a powerwheels Wild Thing. It's fried. I have a basic powerwheels wire harness that has two 12v 6 pole rocker switches. I'm going to use a basic speed controller for it all.

Does 3/8" not restrict air flow too much?
@treyjones4247 ай бұрын
I thought about this for a bit before putting it all together but in the end result all connections to main tools are 1/4 so flow is important but in my set up and use I "think" ill be ok.
@PhillipBlanton7 ай бұрын
@@treyjones424 I'm going to do this too, but I think I'll be using 3/4" Pex A and try hard to keep most fittings in the 3/4" range. At least until I get to the end regulators and connectors, which will be 1/2" or 3/8". My air compressor is an 80 gallon Champion and was previously used at an automotive detail shop, mostly for dusting; but the connection from the tank to the shop lines was 1 1/2"! I had to install bushings on it to bring it down to 3/4". Currently it has a 3-connector manifold mounted directly to the tank, but I am definitely going to plumb the shop for air with Pex. Thanks for the inspiration.

PEX seems to be the favorite plumbing for this. I used pvc and its been fine fir 20 years so far.
@treyjones4247 ай бұрын
Pex is amazing product and easy to use! The good thing for pex over pvc is the expanding if needed to a small degree for the what if factor.

What does that unit above the compressor do?
@treyjones4247 ай бұрын
That unit is a Stupid Simple Tool Air dryer. In short it takes any and all moisture out of the lines before it gets to the tools or cord reels
@mikecrepeau29567 ай бұрын
Are you going from a heated space to a cold unconditioned space above the ceiling? You might have moisture issues or freeze up above the ceiling. Ask me how I know. I also took measures to dry the air after it left the compressor. The air is still warm and going into a colder space will create condensation in the line which will eventually freeze into a blockage. Just a word of caution from mistakes or oversight on my part. Keep up the great work
@treyjones4247 ай бұрын
This is very interesting thought one I may have overlooked as well. I was thinking the dryer would not allow water into the lines. which i have faith it will not at the source but as you mentioned the hot air of the running compressor into the lines and quick temp change. My work is complete but ill keep an eye on it as well ill start taking temp readings both in and out of the shop. This would make for good follow up or long use video. I genuinely apricate your comment and love the advice thank you!

I just set up this grill for the inlaws, how are you liking it so far? What would be your top pros and cons about this grill?
@TonyVainosky Жыл бұрын
Have had mine a few years, just replaced most of the major internal components (all 4 burner tubes, all grates and all burner guards/heat diverter things that sit directly above the burners). One flaw is the inside rear of the grill seems to be thinner and thus, on mine, has started to crumble a bit. So I'll definitely need to come up with a way to remedy that. The cabinet base is disintegrating as well at the corners, but the main grill/shelves are otherwise holding up well. Will likely build a nice wood cabinet to replace the stainless steel one that is disintegrating so it's more of a 'built in' outdoor kitchen unit kinda deal
