Same problem and I can’t get the old filter to pop out

Honestly I don’t know but it seems for most people it takes five days. I think one guy got it in four in the comments below.

I’m not sure, but I think you need at least five days of logs of driving?

Good luck. You'll get it. They are still working the bugs out anyways. Version 3 of the beta is already so much better than V1. I would say to do a soft reset if you have any doubts about your drive being 100%. Wonder how long that option will be around!

@@alexc2259 opt out and opt in Saturday night. Drove 100 miles Sunday, 50 miles Monday. Monday night I got the download.

Were the 150 miles driven mostly autopilot or a good mixture of both?

@@bencze2015 I live in Southern California and drove an open road road path near my home over and over. Only used AP if I thought the traffic lights may turn red before I got to them.

Initially Elon Musk said seven days, but a lot of people have received it after only five days recently. I honestly don’t know if there is a mileage requirement but people have been saying you need over 100 miles. Please let me know when you get it.

@@alexc2259 TODAY is my 7th day with 100 Score and no Update Notification in the first 6 Hours. Hope to receive it later today ! I have 100+ Miles driven in these 7 days

@@alexc2259 YES!, My apologies for not providing the update sooner, I got it on the very 5th day but AFTER getting inside the car. (It never detected a software update from waking up the car by the Cellphone App). I was also amazed that this particular update required NO Wi-Fi Connection !, I LOVE FSD BETA but its not as comfortable as the normal Auto Pilot as this is ALWAYS checking if youre paying attention. It feels like you have to drive again :( If you check your phone for 5 Seconds BOOM you get the Alert, if you do it again, youre punished for the rest of the Drive....

Honestly, I don’t know if there is a minimum number of miles. It’s not offering you any software updates?

I had only 100s. But I just spoke w a guy who had 100 100 99 98 100 who ended up having a total safety score of 100. But his last one day acore of 100 was from a 120 mile drive up to LA from San Diego. He got it on the 5th day when he completed this long trip. Thats all I know. Sorry.

Can report that today @ 4pm EST, I got the beta download. This was after 6 days=4miles, 4 miles, 4 miles, 102miles(a follow too close ding), 4 miles, 4 miles….. was at 100 on each day.

@@alexc2259 I do believe 100 miles is needed, and was mentioned by Elon. I'm not sure if you can just do it in a day and get the update...or if at least 5/6 days is needed.

There’s a lot of good videos out there on how the scoring system works. Merging on to the free is the biggest challenge. Remember you don’t get penalized when you’re in Autopilot, even if the car itself brakes hard or follows too closely.

I drove between 20 and 60 miles a day for those five days so well over 100 miles by the third day but didnt get it until the fifth day. I just spoke to someone who tried it and he got it at the end of the fifth day.

I put in about 150 miles.

Sorry, it's not on your phone app. You opt out on the car. Its the same place you opted in. You go to Autopilot and at the top of the screen it says something like "You are in the queue.." You click a button there and it takes you to a screen where you uncheck those 3 boxes. Let me know if that helps.

Not sure if its related to 100 miles. I got it after 5 days of 100%. I just spoke to someone else who did the reset and got it on the completion of the 5th day of a 99% average safety score. There was no email notification for me. (It may have gone to my wife.) I saw it on the car's screen under "Software Update". You may also see the update notification in your Tesla app on your phone. Only after you qualify do you get the final update that installs the FSD. Be ready for your first drive. It's sort of nuts. You have to totally pay attention. It's not quite ready for prime time. We are more like in the Beta of the Beta Software, haha.

I am sorry to hear about your husband. Sounds like he was pretty handy and I am sure you think of him everytime something breaks. My dad was a rocket scientist for Allegany Ballistics but he couldn’t fix a clogged toilet. Thank goodness for youtube right?
