Awesome and breathtaking work, man! Bravo. I had to watch it muted though. I don’t want to be reminded of that JJ Abrams crap while I look at this beauty; being my favorite since I discovered 'Star Trek' in the mid 80’s. Beyond the motion picture features with the original crew, I went on to watch all the other 'Trek' series throughout my childhood, through my teens and into manhood; even coming back and watching the TOS when the digital remastered version came out. But honestly, I try to pretend all those JJ Abrams horrors never happened.😉 I’d suggest you reset the background music to one of the James Horner scores; STII or STIII.

Just an additional post. I wish I could have one. But I don't think I would have the patience to build one. I did build one back in the 1980's. The kit didn't have the lights or offer a light kit. I did a nice job although didn't have the Aztec painting, so I used different shades of silver and painted the panels by hand one at a time. I lost it when I lost my house. I wish I still have it. Your work is beautiful, the details are spectacular. Thank you for showing how you made it.

Hey man. I amm currently planning to build the ToS in the same scale. Can you tell me where you got the hangar? Would love to do an open hangar version. Thanks in advance.

Hi, it’s the Paragafix photo etch set

It’s the paragrafix photo etch set
@Drachenhannes8 ай бұрын
@@galaxyjason Hey, thanks for the quick reply. But are you sure about that? Because paragrafix only ever did a window drilling template to my knowledge in the 1/1000 scale for the ToS. the refit did have hangar a and aboritum photo etch set. I've been looking for ways to build the hangar and search for photo etch came up empty.

I know I'm years late to the party, but I must know where you got the electronics, especially the nacelle motors. Do you have a wiring diagram? I went to your link in the description, but there wasn't much information that I could see.
