I used to live next door to him in Palm Springs. He was a very nice and interesting man. However, I do not care for his style of architecture. Apparently, the was also a Nazi. So, there's that.

A different Albert Frey was an SS officer. Not the architect.

I love Jim Isermann! I've been following his work since he did the woven three-dimensional cubes in rainbow colors in the 1990s. I'm happy to see that he's getting well-deserved recognition.

Everyday I walk past the Aluminaire House as it is being rebuilt next to the Palm Springs Museum. When I need a break from work, I stand at the corner and watch more of the structure come back into form. I am fascinated by the process of architecture, design and construction and this house has thoroughly captured my attention. I feel the emotional expression in the Aluminaire House now that is near completion. The structure has a soul, a unique essence that are more than the sum of the materials used in this unique design.

pretty meh. And yet the city wants to give this guy half a million to sculpt a limestone anus? Why?

The artworks are beautiful, but like the message of so many other artist, her message is a total obscure nonsense. The less she speak, the better.

She is living the dream I had but not there yet. I had a large abstract painting called Raven's First World accepted into a show at the museum in 1996. Flew it and myself and sister down from Fairbanks Alaska to attend. It didn't sell had to pay to get it home again. Still painting of course. Can I extend an invitation to Mr Markovitz-come to Alaska...
