Excellent instruction how to assemble the Legend equipment. I am looking for a cartridge system and a comparison between stock, Legend, Progressive suspension, Öhlins etc. It would be good to see someting like that. In this case comparison between stock and Legend.

yes it does why i replaced the plastic one with a screamin eagle one so that it's partially covered under the extended warranty should it become a issue given all the other issues i keep having with the m8.

And THAT is why I do not own an HD. I cannot justify spending $20000-$30000+ for a motorcycle that I’ll have to spend $Thousands on, AFTER I BUY IT, to make it reliable and robust. My 2006 Kawasaki is bone stock (I’ve only done routine oil and tire changes) and it is very reliable. I like bikes that run instead of spending all their time in the shop.

@@TuckerSpeed477 I’m not “anti-Harley” but I am “Pro-Reliability” and “Pro-Best Bang for my buck”. If a little bit of dissent or questioning of HD is all it takes to “trigger” HD fan-boys, then my criticisms must not be too far off from the truth.

@@lancem4473 I'm not triggered at all. Doesn't really bother me, I just always think it's weird how much time people spend trying to tell us why Harley's suck. I like Harleys and am not really into metric bikes, so I spend zero time watching videos about Kawasaki's and trying to convince people why they aren't as good or why I don't like them. I just ride what I like and don't really worry about what everyone else is doing.
@TuckerSpeed477

@@lancem4473 Also, your comparison doesn't really make sense. You said your bike is bone stock and you've only done oil changes and tires. Harley's are also pretty reliable if you leave them bone stock. But we are a speed shop and specialize in high hp motor builds and tuning. In the beginning of the video we mentioned that these are the weak links once you start increasing the hp. Any bike is going to have some kind of weak link once you start increasing power, so a bone stock Kawasaki is not really what we are talking about.

I've owned Harley's all my life, I have a love hate relationship with them. On one hand no other bike in the world is like a Harley, then on the other hand why should I pay for a bike that needs expensive upgrades off the showroom floor. I've also owned many Jap bikes and yes some needed upgrades, but rarely for safe higher speed riding

You never did explain why the plastic manifold is junk. Mechanically speaking, plastic does not retain heat very well, meaning the intake air temp readings should be closer to accurate than if a metal manifold was being used. Ultimately, with a metal manifold, at low rpms and idle the engine should be in a state of detune due to higher intake air temps, ie fuel enrichment and spark retard. Maybe it makes no difference on such a short manifold, but has any testing been done?
@timblackburne77
@timblackburne77 7 күн бұрын
To back this up, I relocated an intake air temp sensor on a Jeep 6 cylinder from the aluminium intake manifold to the plastic intake pipe and it consistantly had better fuel economy and ran smoother.

Had to do this twice over. When you said "now this part is crucial" you really meant it lol. For anyone else watching, SERIOUSLY make sure you do not torque the intake manifold down first... It will make your bike sound horrible Also, I was skeptical about this upgrade. I don't think plastic is inherently bad. But my tuner said I might have an intake leak so I went ahead and replaced mine. After installing it correctly, my idle came down quicker after starting up. Usually it would be around 1300 to 1400 for a long while on a cold start. So I guess several people were right, my Dyno tuner, and everyone that craps on the plastic manifolds.

that buckle is so thin metal. seems like anyone can easily cut it off with basic tool....
@TuckerSpeed477
@TuckerSpeed477 9 күн бұрын
That's not the point. Anyone can steal pretty much anything with enough effort. You can never prevent it 100%, but most thieves are opportunists and this prevents quick snatch and grabs which is how most helmets end up stolen. Sure, someone could cut the strap or the buckle and make the helmet useless but that would defeat the purpose.

Good info but also a sales pitch.........you're a business. You said a stock motor could break the OEM clutch basket. You neglected to say a stock motor will only break the stock clutch basket if you abuse your bike frequently, doing burn outs and wheelies and clutch dumps. There's no shortage of master builders easily found on youtube with many decades of experience that will tell you the stock clutch basket even on a stage 2 motor will hold up just fine for most people. Only the extreme abusers risk clutch basket failures and you know this. Just like the stock cam chest with late 2019/2020 and newer oil pump is more than adequate for stage 2 builds and many big bore builds. You have great how to videos for those that need it but your channel is also a sales pitch. I don't blame you as it's how you make your living, but so many people think they need everything you sell and most do not.

Man O War comp to stiff your clutch basket will be your new comp.. Baker manual chain tensioner, best their is IF your crank is straight... Chain oscillation will kill bearings. Engine pulse that is not adequately absorbed will kill clutch baskets and transmission teeth... I know it's hard to hear but your stock comp with polished billet tool steel ramp and a zero run out, plugged and welded crank with proper service of spring pack is the Bugatti set up for smooth trouble free longevity... I also recommend Bell Ray heavy duty CONVENTIONAL ONLY ATF fluid for primary. 🛑(NEVER USE SYNTHETIC FLUID IN PRIMARY REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOUR CLUTCH MANUFACTURER TELLS YOU!!) 👀 Man O War comp would be great for competition, glued services only, bikes that are pulled apart regularly... The Man O War is a slightly softer version of a solid comp delete sprocket. 🏁🏁🏁
