It's clear that this guide is made for American tourists. Everything is explained very simply, like for a child. And these tips are typical of American IQ. How do I order food via Glovo? Please...... When you go somewhere, go to a restaurant and discover the atmosphere. On foot.

that wasnt rakija at the beginning, the guy said Cognac/Vinjak. Obviously Cognac is trademarked and can only be produced in France, the guy cooked his version that is locally called Vinjak (or Vignac if you were french, not to go into reading serbian letters; as aside its very simple 30 letters - 30 sounds you just need to know how each letter sounds, it always sounds the same).

Important addition to Alfama: if you're a light sleeper, forget about it. It's a very noisy neighborhood (and the narrow alleyways and streets don't help, acoustically), and will remain so until well into the night.

Regular taxis are hardly more expensive than Ubers and you can just hail one.

#1A Only cars that have license plates with TX as last 2 letters are licensed taxi car. #10A If you go to restaurant and wanna seat inside and want to avoid smoke then you can go to a restaurants inside big shopping malls because there is no smoking in shopping malls because of fire alarm system. :)

Hipsterism is retro guys. Change your vibe and the restaurants too. Try true Serbian food if in Belgrade. btw, you are commenting on how McDonalds is great in Serbia. Very disappointing.

Oh, that sounded so vain. You don't know what to think of Serbian cuisine, after trying food in so many high class restaurants? Why didn't you try something less snazzy and more traditional then to be able to give your opinion? What's the point in visiting a country and not learning anything of its cuisine and culture? Typically Anglo-saxon behavior.

I guess Belem is barely a part of Lisbon. I was looking for a hotel there, as I'm not much for bars, etc. Much of what I want to see is in that area.

Very useful information. I am going this October. Really appreciate if someone can answer couple questions. TIA Do you have to tip the server in Lisbon? Is it easy to get change for the public restrooms? Last time when I went to Paris, I couldn’t use the public restroom because I only have bills and no coins

You see any black people over there?
@nkotur4 ай бұрын
No man we dont have much of black people here. There is very small number of people who came to study here mainly from African countries 😊 Man race crated from Blacks and Serbs would be on some superhuman level stuff 😂
@partysun33032 ай бұрын
you wont see as many black ppl in serbia like in western europe citys but in belgrade you´ll see alot, i personaly served serbian army in the year 2000 with a black guy whos father came to study from Ghana, if you are concerned about racism, we arent like that, in fact serbias constitution from 1835 was the most progresive in the world at that time, every human who put a step on serbian soil was considered as free man regardles of his race or where he came from, what we hate are colonialists. According to a 8 year Harvard study Serbia is the less racist state in europe. so if you question is if you are save as a black guy in serbia? you definetely are, ppl might stare at you but not in a bad way on the contrary because they are curious and interested

Mondays are indeed the least favourable days for farmer markets because most people come at weekends. A lot of markets are even closed on Mondays.
