Disc mower is very dangerous. I mowed hay for 20 years, and they will mowed over anything or animals that get in it, way baby deers,turkeys etc skunks have to be the worst thing to run over man it lingers

growing up we had three of those little Fiat (rebadged Allis's) 5040,5045,5050 4wd. they were all great on fuel .....

I remember as a young Man getting a chance to work on my Grand fathers farm in Kansas Haying time was my chance to drive the Ford n9 with a sickle and make a wapping .75 cent a Hour I would have done it for free I loved to cut Hay 80 acre fields we called it prairie hay and there was 1800 acre on his farm, thanks for the video bring back great the memroies.

My wife was more interested in the Grand narratives and stories that the TV show had. I find these youtube videos fit me so much better LOL. We run an old Ford 3000 & 5600 from the late 60's back when they over built tractors. Never had them over heat even when baling in 90 degree weather unlike dads Kubota, which is great but not made for a long hard day. Even had the plastic radiator break once. Very nice OK, an old farmer I knew in Wyoming brought out his huge horses harnessed em up and cut fields of hay the old way. Folks from all around the County came by to watch take pics of how it was done from back in the days, cheers mate...

You made me chuckle. Sigh is what I used to call it because I would sigh when I had to use the sickle. Then I got a weed eater and now the sigh (ha! Ha!) Is hung on the wall.

You talk about farm safety and how the cutter can tear things up. How about driving a tractor with the fender missing. It's unsafe and irresponsible to make videos showing it.

I lost my dog yesterday morning in his favorite bed he just drifted away with me petting him. Never found out what it was after two different Vet clinics. I have nothing left holding me here. Ask Jewel if she wants to get married and go back to Alaska, she's only 5 years older than me, and I'm not a bad guy, I lived up there in spring of 2015. We had similar Dad's, I know that pain. Parenting is tough, I can't barely function and this was just my dog of 8.5yrs. Be careful Otto as you age, take a little extra time before hopping off the tractor ect to find your footing, don't rush and be safe. Take care Adam

Don't forget! Your show on Discovery or whatever it was on are the same people pushing for making the fake meat and crapping their pants over cow poop warming the planet. You know it's BS, but took their dollar. I did no better because I gobbled up the first season spoon in hand. When the second Season aired and the first episode was about the amount of snow melt from the previous winter and global warming caused you to have to put hay down for the cows to walk on caused me to do two things. Locate you on a map and stop watching and putting dollars in the lefty loons pockets. You are located on the South Western part of Alaska, pretty much the weather of Washington. You all wore rubber muck boots all the time because it is wet, rain and snow. Go up where the last 6 families of Alaskans live, no shortage of cold. Global warming is BS, don't make me wish I hadn't stumbled on these posts.

Folks who are curious about country stuff,will learn from you. If you really want a hood or fender we can get you both. But it looks like you are doing ok.
